Stormy had her first full snow experience today and she was in heaven doing zoomies, nose dives, and her best “snow fairy” impression. She also had no clue her off-leash fun doubled as a full training session. 😉

The rest of the pack joined in too, turning the yard into one giant snow party. Nothing like fresh snow to bring out everyone’s inner puppy chaos! 🤍🐾

🌪️ Meet Stormy! 🌪️
This tiny 9 lb tornado is a Toy Australian Shepherd here for our 2-week Board & Train, and don’t let her size fool you. She’s full of brains, bounce, and BIG opinions.

Stormy already knows a bunch of commands (she’s wicked smart), but we’re working on the big stuff now like staying in commands longer, not begging for food, and actually coming when called every time. Her family’s goal? To have her safely off-leash and more in control of those “Stormy moments.” 😉

She’s got some struggles we’re helping her work through, including:
• 🚫 Barking and lunging at cars, dogs, and people
• 😰 Major separation anxiety to the point of snapping and biting when someone’s leaving
• 🫣 Fearfulness in new environments and meeting strangers

But guess what? We’re 1 week in and this little lady is already showing HUGE progress. She’s learning how to regulate her excitement, hold still even when she really doesn’t want to, and trust in the process (and me!).

💪 Stay tuned! Stormy’s transformation is gonna be a fun one to watch.

Brunson Update! 💛🐾
This handsome guy has been busy! We worked on all his basics (come, sit, down, place, door manners, leash manners) and focused on holding those commands for longer periods, especially place, which is becoming his new superpower.

He met new friends, experienced his first bit of snow (which was rather uneventful lol), and practiced staying on place while I fed the other pups and made dinner (a true challenge for a food-driven boy who wants to be involved in everything). 🍗🤣

We also tackled his sock obsession… by “accidentally” dropping them while walking past him. Proud to report he’s finally realizing socks aren’t snacks.

More progress coming soon from this silly golden whirlwind!

Meet Brunson: a 7-month-old Golden Retriever here for a 2-Week Board and Train! He’s sweet, he’s silly, and he has big goals… like learning sit, down, stay, coming when called (a major one), and how to walk nicely on a leash.

He also loves to jump up, occasionally counter surf, and, his signature move, eat absolutely everything he shouldn’t. Socks, paper, hand towels, tiny cat toys… if it exists, Brunson has probably tried to swallow it.

He’s a lovable goofball who just needs some structure and a break from treating the world like a snack bar. 😂

Little Miss Fable is out here crushing her training goals! 💪🐾
Just 2 weeks ago, this sweet Whippet was pulling on leash, getting a little too excited around distractions, and tuning out when playtime kicked in.

Now?
✔️ Walking perfectly in heel like it’s second nature
✔️ Chilling in a down-stay and straight-up falling asleep in public 🤯
✔️ Strolling past distractions like “meh, not my problem”
✔️ And the best part? I can call her off mid-play with other dogs and she actually listens 🙌

So proud of this little lady — she’s focused, relaxed, and starting to realize that calm is kinda cool. 🖤
