💔 Rescue Update: A Heartbreaking Goodbye to Sweet Jojo 💔

This is an incredibly difficult update to share. Our sweet Jojo crossed the rainbow bridge early this morning at the ER vet. She suffered a sudden blood clot, possibly related to her Cushing’s disease, and despite every effort, she could not be saved.

Jojo was the gentlest little old lady, and she touched so many hearts in her short time with us. We know she had a loving following here, and we are so grateful to everyone who cheered her on, shared her story, and sent her love.

Our hearts are shattered, specially her wonderful foster, Kay, who gave Jojo the most beautiful final months filled with comfort, safety, and unconditional love. We are forever thankful for the care and devotion Kay poured into her.

Run free, sweet Jojo. You were so loved. 🌈🐾

10 weeks since Jojo joined our rescue. She is doing so well on her meds and her hair is coming in nicely, she’s going to need a haircut soon.
She loves sleeping on my lap while I work. Thanks to everyone for your support for our sweet little girl. She has a lifetime of medical ahead of her but she’s thriving wonderfully and we’re so excited for her progress ❤️🐾
