Sheltie Health Monday

Sheltie ears may be adorable — but they still need regular care.

A quick weekly ear check can help catch:
✔ Redness
✔ Odor
✔ Excess wax
✔ Irritation

Healthy ears should be clean, dry, and free of strong odor.

And remember:
❌ Never use cotton swabs deep in the ear canal
✔ Use a veterinarian-approved ear cleaner if needed

If your Sheltie is scratching, shaking their head, or seems uncomfortable, it’s worth checking with your veterinarian.

A little prevention goes a long way.
