WE HAVE SET UP A "GO FUND ME ACCOUNT: Precious Paws Rescue Lecanto, FL

Precious Paws Rescue has outgrown our current location and is in need of renovating a new rental space in the same plaza where we are now.
This endeavor will have a large cost as we need to remove carpet, epoxy floors, add kitchen cabinets, plumbing, and a large stainless-steel sink, electrical upgrades, hook up for a washer and dryer and paint the interior. One bathroom needs to be repaired. Let’s come together to help these animals find their forever homes. Every dollar counts and your support means the world to us. Thank you!

We have a special needs cat named Snowy. She looks like Siamese and had a litter of kittens. She tested positive for FIV. FIV is like AIDS and they can live a normal life, and there isn't any medication needed. Snowy needs to be the only cat in the household so she doesn't infect them. She loves to be petted but does not like to be held.
Snowy is at the Pet Center in Crystal River.

ANNOUNCEMENT! NO COST Feline Spay/Neuter Community Cat Program
It is kitten season and many, many homeless felines are producing litters of kittens in every corner of our county. Thanks to the generosity of a Precious Paws Rescue Donor, PPR will start a NO COST FELINE SPAY/NEUTER program for Citrus County, FL on May 15th, 2025. Humanitarians of Florida will be performing the surgeries and Rabies vaccine.

Spay/Neuter is the only solution to the cat overpopulation- there are not enough homes. These orphan felines do not have happy or healthy lives. Many are ill, hungry, flea infested, hot or cold and all are very stressed.

To participate in this NO COST program--please call 352-726-4700 and leave a message. A volunteer will return your call--be sure your telephone system is able to take messages, and your mailbox is NOT full.

All information to complete the Spay/Neuter Voucher will be taken over the phone. The PPR volunteer will give you all the instructions during the return phone call.

NO VOUCHERS WILL BE ISSUED AT THE PPR ADOPTION CENTER OR THE HUMANITARIANS FACILITY!

Penny was adopted! This is Penny. She has Special Needs...she must be kept on Meals like chicken and some premium canned food. She has been fostered for a while now but her caregiver needs to have surgery and cannot continue her care of Penny. Penny had been stressed out at our Rescue Center and overate quite a bit. She developed serious constipation but with the care she has been getting she has improved quite a bit. She does like to have human companionship. Penny would do well in a house that does not have other animals.
If you would like to meet Penny, arrangements will need to be made as she is still with her Foster. Call our number and leave a message. Someone will return your call.
