You may have been wondering why I haven't been posting much here as of late.
It's been a pretty crappy June so far, to be honest.
Exactly 1 wk after Steve & I said goodbye to Palmer, our pomeranian, we faced the same heartbreak with Mini-Cooper, our chihuahua. 💔 Euthanizing both of our dogs within a wk of each other is something I never thought we'd have to face. 😢
Coopie would have turned 15 years old in Oct; he joined our family when he was 10 months.
He was a perfect mix of sweet & ornery. Personality and then some with this one, lol. 💯
Despite feeling sad & frankly a bit numb with losing him so soon after Palmer, we're thankful for the wonderful years we had with Cooper. (Palmer and Frankie, too, who died in April of last year)
He brought us so much joy. 🤎
Life with senior dogs can be hard! But it's truly a gift.
We had a responsibility to do right by our dogs. We did our best for them up until our best was no longer serving them.
Rest in peace, boys. 🏠🌈🐾
