Why would someone who has the luxury of not having to work a full-time job get up at 6AM to drive ONE cat an hour round-trip to get fixed❓
Maybe it's to share my vibrant sunshiny ☀️ disposition with all I encounter? No, that's not it. I'm a morning grumpus and you don't even want to know me before I've had my cup of coffee. ☕️
Maybe it's my love of driving and how skillful I am at it? 🚗 Probably not. My husband says I have two distinct driving techniques: 1. Old grandma 👵 who cautiously drives 10 miles under the speed limit or 2. Roller coaster thrill ride 🎢 where you fear for your life. I disagree, but he says there's no in between. 😂
Maybe it's because I'm bored and have nothing better to do? Not so much. I have aging parents that I'm blessed to be able to assist. I have an understanding husband who supports my crazy cat life 😻, but still needs meals cooked, clean clothes and quality time. And I have 11 cats of my own to take care of here at home.
The real reason I drive the ONE cat to get fixed is because:
I know if that cat is female, she will produce an average of 12 kittens this season. 😿
I know if that cat is male, he can reproduce with countless females an unlimited amount of times. 😿
I know there are already too many kittens being born to suffer and die outside. 😿
I know there aren't enough homes for the ones who are lucky enough to be rescued. 😿
I know "kitten season isn't cute" and I want to do everything I can to help even ONE cat. And I want you to know that you should help that ONE cat too!
🐈🐈 Together, we can make a difference 🐈🐈
