Chi we**ie babies in Lawrence !!

We know folks have been waiting for the chi-we**ie puppies who attended puppy yoga a couple of weeks ago to be available for adoption, and good news - tomorrow they will be!

This Saturday, April 26, the chi-we**ie puppies will be at Lawrence Humane Society from 12pm to 4pm, ready to meet prospective adopters! There will be 5 puppies available and their adoption fee is $400 each. They'll also need to leave with a collar and leash, which you can purchase at the shelter.

Our Adoptions Counselors will assist prospective adopters in order of first-come first-served and puppies cannot be reserved or placed on hold. They're truly the sweetest puppies and we look forward to finding them wonderful homes! 💕

-You must live in Independence to book at Independence Animal Services.

Time for our yearly reminder: If you don't have years to commit to a pet rabbit, adopt a chocolate one instead! 🍫🐰

Rabbits make wonderful pets, but there is a misconception that they are easy, low-maintenance pets.

Rabbits have an average life span of 8-14 years, require a special diet and need regular trips to a specialized veterinarian.

They need 2-4 hours of "play" or exercise every day and require as much attention (if not more) than typical household pets.

Unless you are educated on their needs and are prepared for the commitment, please don't buy a bunny as a gift! 🐇

Alright yall-i decided to go ahead and try this out! It’s gonna be a learning curve but it is what it is. Hopefully it doesn’t rain… or if it does-not torrential! lol

Keep in mind that all of the dogs won’t be “on display” because they aren’t all available. It’ll be pretty much EXACTLY like Petsmart except for-AT the rescue. 🙃

Come on out, meet the dogs. Get any questions you might have-answered and just have a good time hanging out with some we**ies and we**ie mixes. ❤️❤️❤️🐾🐾🐾

The cloned account apparently mirrored the profile when I changed the profile pic on our Venmo. Soooooo I’ve decided to flip it back around on them and use THIS as our photo on Venmo. Which literally says that their account is a fraud. Hopefully it mirrors it!

I also changed my name on there to a goofy name just to see if it clones it too. I’ll keep everyone posted.

If you can-REPORT THE FRAUDULENT ACCOUNT!

OUR VENMO ACCOUNT WAS CLONED!!!! I just found out a few minutes ago that our venmo account was cloned! If you get a REQUEST on Venmo from “me” DO NOT PAY IT!!!!! It is a CLONED account! They stole my picture, name and to fool people made the name be “wenersq-“ our venmo tag but with a hyphen at the end!!

OUR VENMO HAS NO HYPHEN!! I went in and changed the profile picture to be just the black and white logo to help differentiate for now!!! Just know that I will never request money from anyone!

Nothing has been hacked-just cloned but please, if you sent money to the one with the hyphen-you will likely need to contact venmo!
