Patient Spotlight: Our Sweet Labrador Friend, Mac!

Say hello to one of the cutest patients we get to see at Pointe 183 Animal Hospital — this handsome Labrador who has completely stolen our hearts.

He’s been working closely with Dr. Wilson on managing his osteoarthritis, and thanks to the perfect combination of medications, laser therapy, and lots of TLC…he’s feeling WORLDS better.

Watching a patient turn a corner like this is why we do what we do. It validates every late night, every treatment plan, and every gentle pat on the head. Seeing him brighter, happier, and more comfortable truly brings joy to our entire team.

And yes — that is him rocking his “doggles” during laser therapy. 😎🐶 Gotta protect those eyes in style!

We’re so proud of his progress and so grateful to be part of his journey. We’re cheering you on every step of the way! 🐾

The season of giving is near, and we’re excited to give back to the pets and families in our community who need a little extra help this year! ❤️

Starting today through the end of the year, Pointe 183 Animal Hospital will be collecting pet food donations on behalf of Furrbaby Food Pantry in Georgetown.

Each time our donation bin fills up, our team will personally deliver the food to the pantry to help keep local pets fed and happy this holiday season.

What to donate:
-Dry or canned dog & cat food
-Treats and specialty diets (if unopened and within date)

We are excited to start this new holiday tradition of giving back! Stop by any day of the week (We are here Mon-Sun 😊) to drop off your donations! 🐶🐱

The Clinic Cat Chronicles (Halloween Edition)– Episode 17: The Legend of the Hallway Shark

It was a dark and stormy… Friday morning. The clinic lights flickered. A chill drifted down the treatment hallway. And then — a sound.

thump… thump… thump…

Staff froze. Clients whispered. A brave technician peaked around the corner and gasped.

There he was.
Half cat. Half shark.
All attitude.

Oliver, the Hallway Shark, had emerged.

Some say he prowls the clinic every Halloween, hunting stray treats and unattended lunches.

While this Hallway Shark may be harmless (depending on snack availability), other Halloween frights are not... So we've included some Halloween safety tips to keep your furry friends safe this Halloween.

Meet Minnie & Selena – Two Special Kitties Looking for Their Forever Homes!

While we don’t usually take in strays, these two little kittens snuck their way into our hearts (and our hospital)!

Minnie is a sweet 9-week-old calico brought in by a kind-hearted good Samaritan. She’s playful, curious, and already stealing hearts left and right.

Selena is a tiny 5-week-old black kitten with a big personality. While she does have this congenital condition(a heart murmur), it doesn’t slow her down one bit—and it certainly doesn’t stop her from being the purrrrfect lap cat.

Both girls are looking for loving, responsible homes where they can grow and thrive. If you’ve got room in your heart (and on your couch), Minnie and Selena would love to meet you!
