GAPR has an adoption procedure And please know, that EVERYTHING is by APPOINTMENT ONLY!!! to possibly adopt, email us: [email protected] and we'll be happy to email you an adoption application. It needs to be filled out completely, signed and dated and then mailed back to GAPR via USPS. Please include references and contact them to inform them that we will be calling to speak with them. Once the ado

ption application is processed, one of our volunteers will contact you to arrange a home inspection. once this is completed we will contact you as to whether you've been approved or not, if approved to this point, you will be scheduled in by appointment only, to visit with our rescues and we will be happy to help match you to the right pug rescue that will fit best into your family and home life. there is an adoption fee and it varies dependant on each individual pug rescue.

ATTENTION PLEASE - please know that I really appreciate every single donation, whether it’s for the rescues or for the upcoming event, The Original Pugfest in PA 2026…
however, PLEASE don’t take offense to this but…
I cannot have people dropping by at their convenience to drop off stuff, especially without an appointment. And unfortunately, I cannot make appointments for every single person at different days and times so….
I am going to be setting up 1 day for a 3 hour timeframe for donations to be dropped off….
Keep an eye on the page. It will probably be either next weekend but may be the following weekend either on a Saturday or Sunday, but keep an eye on the page, I will let you know when that day and time the donation drop off will be held.
