Fore the pets. 🐾⛳

We were happy to support Animal Network Rescue annual Play Fore Paws Golf Tournament again this year!

They does so much for pets in our community, and we’ve been fortunate to help care for several of their animals when they needed specialty or emergency services.

Like Slinky — one of the sweetest shepherds we’ve ever met and a pup who left a lasting impression on our team. ❤️

Harley came in for a TPLO consult.
Michael left with a hair appointment. 💖

When Harley first met with our board-certified surgeon, Dr. Wood, nurse Michael couldn’t get over her amazing pink hair. By the time Harley came back for surgery, they were matching.

Harley underwent a TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy), a procedure used to stabilize the knee after a torn cranial cruciate ligament—helping dogs get back to running, playing, and living their best lives.

Harley got a repaired knee. Michael got a fresh color.
We’d call that a successful week all around.

Thanks to Harley’s mom for the inspiration, and to Harley for setting the fashion standard around here. We’re still trying to decide who wore the pink better. 🐾💕

Birthday wish: One healing leg, one happy dog, and many more birthdays ahead. 🎂🐾

This is Diego.

If you've been around our hospital lately, you've probably seen him. Following a traumatic attack that left both Diego and his owner seriously injured, he's been visiting us almost daily as our team works to save his leg.

Today, though, isn't about bandages, treatments, or appointments.

It's Diego's birthday. 💙🫶

We're incredibly proud of the progress he's made and thankful to everyone who has helped along the way — especially our friends at the Nevada SPCA Life-Saving Shelter , who matched our contributions to support his care.

His journey isn't over yet, but seeing him celebrate another birthday surrounded by people who care about him feels pretty special.

Building treatment plans... and team pyramids. 🐾

Behind every chemotherapy treatment, recheck appointment, and progress update is a team dedicated to helping pets and their families navigate cancer care.

This crew is proud to be part of the only board-certified veterinary oncology service in Las Vegas, bringing advanced cancer care to pets across our community while never losing sight of the human (and furry) side of medicine. 💚

And occasionally, that means turning team photo day into a pyramid competition.

Bruno’s family noticed something was wrong when he began struggling to urinate — and imaging confirmed obstructive bladder stones. After being seen by our friends at Cadence Animal Hospital , he transferred to our ER where he was urgently taken to surgery with support from our board-certified surgical team, residents, and incredible nurses. 🩺

Now? Bruno is back home being adorable, cozy, and ready for summer 😎💙

Huge thank you to his mom, Lizzie, for sharing these sweet recovery photos with us. We’re so glad he’s feeling better. 🥹
