Kittens season is in full effect and have been receiving an influx of neonatal kittens coming in without mothers, here are some things to check out before picking up a stray kitten.

🐱A mother cat will typically spend a portion of the day hunting looking for food and water.

🐱A mother cat may be searching for a more secure or safer location for her kittens.

🐱It's not uncommon for a mother cat to leave her kittens for a few hours.

🐱Some mother cat may venture out to defend their territory.

🐱A kitten has a better chance of survival if kept with the mother.

🐱Found a kitten consider fostering until they are of age for adoption.

Don't be a Kit-napper! Assess the area and ask yourself Should I bring the kitten into my CASA?
