Coffee, Ari, and several other dogs and cats will be there hoping to meet their future families. All pets are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and ready to go home.

🐾❤️ Happy National Rescue Dog Day from LAPS ❤️🐾

Today we celebrate the dogs who were abandoned, forgotten, neglected, or left without a home — yet still continue to love with their whole hearts.

Every rescue dog has a story. Some came to us scared, hungry, injured, or unsure of people. But with patience, care, and love, they learn to trust again. Watching them heal and finally find happiness is why we do what we do.

This National Rescue Dog Day, we honor not only the dogs still waiting for their forever homes, but also the adopters, fosters, volunteers, and supporters who help make second chances possible. 🐶💕

A rescue dog may come with a past, but they also come with endless love to give.

Flounder is a 4-month-old Heeler mix puppy with the sweetest personality ever 🐶💙 He’s playful, loving, and ready to find a forever family to grow up with. Flounder is currently waiting for his forever home alongside his 13 siblings, all hoping for a second chance at a happy life 🏡
