Well better late than never! We would like to thank everyone who contacted us to track this year! We had to turn most tracks away due to family stuff going on. We recommend a few other trackers when we couldn’t help and we can’t thank those tracking teams enough for all the help helping our clients when we couldn’t! But we ended up having a solid season Cash has progressed tremendously and he did a phenomenal job on every track we were able to run! We are looking forward to the 2026 season with big things coming this year! Until then we will continue to train during the off season to be fully prepared for the 2026 tracking season! Pictured below is one of our favorite tracks we did this fall!

Cash and I donated our services to help track for Wheelin Team 457 for the Independence hunt in case they needed a tracking team and we got to help out! Huge congratulations to Eli on an awesome buck!! For those wondering, Eli used a Be Adaptive system for shooting. It's a an electronic scope with a small video screen for aiming and a sip & puff trigger that allows him to shoot. Cash made quick work on what we thought was a marginal shot with it being quartering to. But he ended up making the perfect quartering to shot! Super glad we could help! Following this one we headed over to help another hunter about a mile away which was a shoulder/brisktet shot we jumped him and ran him across two fields and ended up calling it due to the deer not being mortally wounded! Cash did awesome today and we put one on the tailgate! Wishing everyone else luck the rest of this weekend!

We have been happy to see everyone again and some new faces so far this year! Now that the warm weather is gone hunting should be a bit more enjoyable, happy and safe hunting everyone!

Another successful track this morning! They weren’t too sure on the shot because right when they took the shot the buck put his head down and turned at the same time. The bolt bounced off the rack, went through the ear, cut the shoulder open then went in and went through the liver, then the arrow continued to go into the gut’s and right back out while cutting his rear leg all on the same side! They tracked him for about 150ish yards before backing out. Cash and I went in this morning not knowing fully what happened, but the bolt and blood told us liver/gut shot! Cash locked in immediately and was marching right along until we hit what I’d assume was a bed and he struggled hard to pick a line out of it. (We later found out that the coyotes had bumped the deer! Most likely why he struggled there)! About 126 yards past the bed, we found the buck pretty tore up from the coyotes. This was hands down the craziest shot scenario we’ve ever seen, and it was quite frankly a freak accident. But at the end of the day, we recovered the deer and learned a lot! Congrats again, Jacob!

First track of the 2025 archery season and Cash did a phenomenal job! The hunter didnt want a picture so Cash and i had to ge a pic with it! Possibly our biggest buck we’ve recovered! Pictures dont do him justice! And yes hes tagged! Shot was a weird angle taking out one lung liver guts and he was bumped yesterday mid day! So with one little hiccup and 300ish yards later we found him! Congrats and thanks for trusting our team to help recover your deer!💪🏻

BREAKING!

A sate budget shutdown could prevent hunters from buying licenses starting on October 1st due to the potential unavailability of the purchasing system. Hunters are advised to secure their licenses well before the October 1st budget deadline to avoid disruption, as license vendors may not be able to connect to the system if a budget agreement is not reached.

‼️2025 Archery Season‼️

This will be the 4th season of tracking for Cash and me, and we are as ready as we have ever been! Cash is eager to get back to work after a successful weekend tracking for the youth hunt! So, with that being said, there’s a few things I need before calling me!

☑️ Shot Placement
- When in doubt, back out. If you know you made a marginal shot and/or have stomach matter on your arrow, back out, and give him 12-14 hours. Liver shots 8-12 hours. Tracking too early could potentially bump the deer making it harder for us to recover.

☑️Basic Information
- Because we are a registered tracking team with the Michigan DNR, required by law, we must report the track. Upon arriving we will need a few things to start the track - (Name, Address, Tag number, County, and State)

When contacting me, I do not screen my calls. It’s first come first serve. If I don’t answer leave a message and shoot me a text, I will get back to you as soon as I can.

This post is going to be lengthy, but it was one hell of a day Sunday! 3 for 4 on the day in some pretty tough scenting conditions. But, Cash stayed locked in and neither of us gave up when we were having trouble!
The first track of the morning was shot the night before. They tracked 10 yards and backed out after seeing gut matter in the blood. We came in, and Cash marched right to the buck, he died in his first bed 60 yards away! Congrats Dakota!!💪🏻

The 2nd track of the day there was zero blood, no hair, nothing. Still, we tried it, but Cash showed very little interest so we believe it must have been a miss unfortunately!
Now the next two tracks were tough ones! Both midday when it was extremely hot and dry!
Cash and I showed up for the 3rd track and learned that the shot was on video and looked like mid body at the white belly line. We put him down at the shot site and he slowly worked his way across the standing bean field which seemed like it took an hour. I could tell something was off and he was struggling, so we went back to restart him. On the way back, they had stumbled across one little spot of blood just upwind of where Cash was running his line! It was clear that Cash was following the drifting scent cloud so we put him down to restart at the blood sight. Within seconds, Cash marched right to the buck! Congarts Noah!!!

And finally, our last track of the day looked like a good shot on video, but no blood. The shot was in a wide open, hilly hay field, so we didn’t have an exact shot site location or even a land mark to know where he went in. We worked around for an hour just trying to find the shot site. We were both wore out and decided to regroup and refocus mainly on the one hill in the field where we knew he was for sure. Finally, after about 50-75 yards walking the top of that hill, Cash locked in and started heading south east (not where we thought he went). Within minutes we were standing next to a dead buck! Congrats on an awesome buck Greyson!
I am very pleased with the first couple tracks of the year! They weren’t pretty, and they were by no means perfect, but we put three bucks on the tailgate! So overall, a successful weekend tracking! Thanks to everyone that trusted Cash and I to find their deer! And congrats to the youth hunters we were able to help and to all others who were successful this weekend! We are looking forward to the early dose season, which we will also be tracking for free and we are ready for bow season!💪🏻

The start of deer season is here with the Youth/Liberty hunt! Cash and l will be available 24/7 all weekend free of charge with in lapeer county and if its within reasonable didtance from us! I almost always answer the phone other than when I’m on a track. If I don’t answer please leave me a message and shoot me a text and I will get back with you as fast as I can. If I can’t help you I can get you in contact with another tracker! With that being said we look forward to being able to help in any way we can this weekend! It’s been a while since we posted anything so here we go! We are now just 20 days away from the start of deer season! This will be our 4th season tracking and we are both beyond ready and excited to see what this year had in store! Bow season not too far away either! So with the youth hunt being 20 days away Cash and I are ready to go! As for every other year all youth hunt tracks are FREE OF CHARGE within reasonable distance! Preferably in lapeer county but might venture a little further! As always we look forward to helping as many hunters as we can but if we can’t I can get you in contact with other trackers! We just hit 3.5K followers! Thank you for continuing support. Thanks everyone for the last 2ish years with the page! I was a little nervous to start it in the beginning but it has expanded the range of people and areas we help every season! Thanks to those who have used my tracking team and thanks to all those who refer us! During our busy season we try and help as many people as we can but we can’t get them all!
