🎉Back-to-School Preparedness for those in Elementary School focuses on establishing routines, managing anxieties, and ensuring they have the necessary tools and knowledge for the new school year. This includes gradually shifting to a school-day schedule, practicing social interactions, and open communication about their feelings, and reviewing some of the skills they learned last school year.

A few routines to re-establish and/or discuss before school starts:

📌Sleep Schedule: Start adjusting bedtime and wake-up times at least a week or two before school starts to ease the transition back to a school-day schedule.

📌Meal Times: Align meal and snack times with the school day schedule to help regulate hunger and energy levels.

📌Homework Routine: Begin incorporating a designated time for homework to help kids adjust to the structure of the school year.

📌Morning Routine: Practice the morning routine (getting dressed, packing lunches, etc.) to identify potential bottlenecks and streamline the process.
