Some places become part of your story in ways you never expected.
As the Manheim location of prussian street arcade prepares to close its doors on August 23rd, I’ve been thinking a lot about what this place has meant to me — both as a business owner and as a team member.
What Michael and Susan have created through Prussian Street Arcade is so much bigger than a storefront. They’ve created a space where small businesses could take chances, grow, find their people, and bring their ideas to life. Ruff City Pet has been incredibly fortunate to be one of those businesses.
This space has given Ruff City Pet so much — opportunities to grow, customers who became part of our story, and a place where I could continue building something I started from nothing.
And personally, being part of the team has given me a completely different perspective and appreciation for everything that goes into making a place like this work. I’m incredibly grateful for the time I’ve spent here and for everything I’ve been able to learn along the way.
While the Manheim chapter is coming to an end, Prussian Street Arcade is NOT going anywhere. Lancaster is still here, and there is so much more to come.
And as for Ruff City Pet… stay tuned. This is definitely not the end of our story either.
