🎉 ADOPTION ANNOUNCEMENT: MOLLY McBUTTER 🎉
Some happy endings are worth waiting for… and sweet Molly McButter has finally found hers!
Affectionately named for her soft, buttery coat, Molly was West Coast Boxer Rescue’s longest boarding resident, patiently waiting for her family since October. As a Boxer-Shepherd mixy girl, Molly was often overlooked whenever she was offered for adoption. While other dogs came and went, Molly remained hopeful, winning over everyone who took the time to know her.
Our dedicated volunteers made sure Molly’s spirits stayed high by showering her with love, attention, and plenty of outdoor adventures. Long hikes became one of Molly’s favorite activities, helping her burn energy while providing the mental enrichment she thrives on. Anyone who spent time with her quickly discovered that Molly is one of the smartest dogs ever to come through WCBR.
Then fate stepped in. ✨
When Samantha and Jonathan, two passionate hikers, learned about Molly, the stars aligned. Having recently suffered the heartbreaking loss of their beloved 2 year old Boxer boy, they knew their hearts weren’t ready to close and were ready to help another dog in need. When offered the opportunity to adopt Molly, their answer was an immediate and enthusiastic YES!
From the moment they met, it was clear this was the perfect match. Molly has found a family who shares her love of adventure, exploration, and the great outdoors. We can already picture countless miles of trails, mountain views, and happy memories ahead for this special trio.
Congratulations, Samantha and Jonathan, and thank you for opening your hearts to a dog who waited so patiently for her forever home. And congratulations, Molly McButter 🧈you finally got the ending you’ve always deserved.
Here’s to many happy, healthy years of hiking, exploring, and making memories together. ❤️🐾
Happy Tails, Molly! 🥾🏔️🐕💕
