We want to address a post that has recently been circulating regarding allegations of animal abuse and neglect at our facility.
These accusations are not new. They stem from claims made approximately three years ago by a former disgruntled patron. At the time, the allegations were taken seriously, properly investigated, and determined to be unfounded.
We would also like to address the photos being shared. Some of the photos were not even taken on our property, while others are being presented completely out of context. A photograph paired with an accusation does not automatically make the story being told about it true.
We understand that allegations involving the welfare of animals are upsetting, and we would never discourage anyone from speaking up if they genuinely believe an animal is in danger. However, there is a significant difference between raising a legitimate concern and continuing to circulate old allegations that have already been investigated and found to be false.
The health, safety, and well being of our animals has always been and will continue to be our priority. These animals are not just part of our business, they are a huge part of our lives, and they are loved and cared for every single day.
And we have absolutely nothing to hide. We encourage anyone who has questions or concerns to come visit us, see our loving animals for themselves, see the environment they live in, and make their own judgment based on what they actually see firsthand,not what they read in a social media post. Our doors are open, and we are proud of the care our animals receive.
For the past three years, we have chosen not to engage in unnecessary drama surrounding these accusations. However, now that the same claims, misleading photographs, and out of context information are once again being circulated as though they are current facts, we feel it is important that our community hear the truth directly from us.
We are incredibly grateful to the customers, families, and community members who have personally visited our facility, spent time with our animals, and witnessed the care they receive firsthand.
Old accusations do not become new facts simply because they are reposted. Photos taken elsewhere do not become evidence against our facility simply because someone attaches our name to them. And a photo taken out of context does not tell the whole story.
We stand behind the care of our animals, and we invite our community to come see that care firsthand. 🐴❤️
