Adoption #127 was Dipsy! She came to us with her sister Tinky Winky from Warren Animal Control, who referred them to Pawsitive over concern they weren't growing at a normal rate. If there's one thing we can do at Black Cat Beanery, it's get them to a healthy weight with our buffet service 😂This fine gentleman connected with Dipper and gave her a warm, loving home.

Remember we have special hours today - we're open from 11am to 2pm and from 4pm to 5pm for all ages, and adults-only After Dark from 6pm to 8pm!

Tomorrow we have more special sessions, including our first ever GAME NIGHT! We're open from 11am to 2pm and 4pm to 7pm on Thursday, and for both sessions we will have the cat room full of games to play along with the kitties! Giant Jenga, Giant Connect Four, cards, board games, and much more!

Adoption #126 was Brock! Brock was shot by a BB gun in Detroit, and rescued by Warren Animal Control before being transferred to Pawsitive for his needed medical care. When we got to the Beanery we realized he was a hugger. Yes, he gives hugs. And this beautiful lady fell for his charms and took him home ❤️

Adoption #125 was Tinky Winky! Yes, there was a Teletubbies-themed litter and we got a couple of them at the Beanery 😊 T-Dubs, as we called her, came over from Warren Animal Control - they asked Pawsitive to have a look at her when they were concerned about her low weight. Thanks to the many friendly guests to the Beanery giving her Churu, her weight was up in no time. This lovely couple fell in love at first sight with Tinks, and took her home to take care of forever!

Adoption #124 was Roman! This loveable void cat was found in Holly near death, weighing only 4 lbs and afflicted with parasites. He got the medical care he needed from Pawsitive, and after a brief stay at the Beanery, the lovely lady who adopted Sleepy decided he should go home with a familiar friend ❤️

Everyone, meet Miss Muffin. She's old, and crabby, and we absolutely adore her ❤️
This grand lady is 13 years old, and was brought in by her previous owner to be euthanized because she was vomiting. The staff at Pawsitive refused to euthanize her, and instead diagnosed and treated the dental issues that were causing her discomfort. She's now at the Beanery waiting for her new (better) owners, and you can tell she knows she's been given a second chance - she's full of energy and loves sitting on laps on the couch, even if it means she needs to swat away another car or two to claim her human 😂

WAKE UP BABY THE BLACK CAT BEANERY SPRING BREAK SCHEDULE JUST DROPPED! Bookings are now open for our events and extra sessions taking place during Spring Break week! Sunday morning we're hosting another session of Kitty Yoga - this event is sold out but you can join the wait list on our website to be notified of the next one. Tuesday (3/25) will be our first ever Movie Night from 5pm-7pm : we will show The Aristocats, and offer concessions for purchase and some extra play time with the kitties! Wednesday night is our adults-only Black Cat After Dark, and Thursday night (and day) will be the first Game Night at the Beanery - jumbo adult-sized games to play, prizes for winners, and cats causing chaos throughout!
In addition to these events, we will have a rare Monday session, and early sessions Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to maximize our availability for you and your family to visit. Come on by and book now to reserve your spots!

Adoption #121 was Marti, and yes you have seen her before 😉She went home in November, but came back to us during the holiday break because her owner had to relocate. But Marti-Party was too adorable to last long a second time around, and within five days these wonderful folks snatched her up and gave her a forever home.

He was nursed back to health, and came to the Beanery with his BFF Getaway, who was trapped and treated so the best buds could stay together. Adoption #116 was Harvey! He had a hell of a road to his forever home... He was born outside at a farm in Fenton, and when he was 2 weeks old his mom moved the other kittens but left him behind 😾A loving foster took him in, bottle fed him, and got him to us in great shape! Now he's going to his forever home with this amazing young couple who fell in love with him ❤️

Adoption #115 was Dimitri! This little guy was 7 months old when we got him at the Beanery, and he had just recovered from parvo... He was full of s***k and energy, so much so that he could not be contained for the traditional adoption photo 😂 Here he is seen with his new momma in their loving home, looking at the camera as if to say "you didn't get this at the Beanery, I won 😼"

Adoptions #113 and #114 were Elphaba and Glinda! These little Wicked kitties were barely getting used to their new home at the Beanery before they were right back out the door with this kind gentleman on to their permanent home! They were only with us for five days (Sassy glares from across the room 😾). Yes, they really were as cute as this photo suggests...
