Today's Pet Tale is about Delilah!
"Delilah was a high needs pet from day one when we brought her home as a kitten from the shelter and quickly realized she was very sick but hardly showing it. 14 years she endured in her tiny little fluff and spread more love than could ever be measured! Her number one boy, Sig, will forever have a hole in his heart as will the rest of our family but we find peace in knowing we gave her a life few would have ever accepted – in return she gave us a love that will be hard to let go, but now she will never have to fight another infection or day of pain again.

We cannot thank the team at Pet Passages enough for holding us through this pain for the second time in one year. There is no where else I can imagine helping us through these times"
Our deepest sympathies are with the Crowe family!

Today's Pet Tale is about Lily Sparkles!
"We adopted you in Aug of 2011. You were such a spunky, full of life addition to our family. The way you fit in right away and how much you loved your momma treats and free smells. I remember when you tried to pull London off her scooter by her sweater. You were just done with this little human trying to chase you down. Lily liked to chew just one of my shoes and no matter what she was always happy to anyone. You will always be loved Lily Sparkles aka Oshy boos."

Todays Pet Tale is about Momo!
"Momo and his fur father Appa (who is not much older that him) were rescued from a hoarding situation that was made worse by a gas explosion in the home. He and his father were part of a lucky few that survived. He was then adopted with is father to another family from Clinton Township. In January of 2023 Momo and Appa found a new home with their Mom, Harmony, where he and his father have lived a wonderful life together full of popcorns, veggies and hay. Momo is survived by his fur father Appa, his human mothers, Harmony and Nicole, and his human sisters Zoe and Kaylynn."

Todays Pet Tale is about Charlie!
"Charlie has been the best dog for our family for over 14 years. A great hunter and the best family dog, he has been the best companion. He will truly be missed, he loved his walks and all his dog friends in the neighborhood. He also loved to be at the cottage, catching frogs and walking in the snow, but what he loves most is to eat, his favorite was CHICKEN. While he didnt love our cats (Kitty Kelly and Molly) he did teach them how to beg for food any food, and we will never be alone in the kitchen. Julia, Caroline and Allan grew up with Charlie and will also miss him greatly. We are all going to miss you buddy, Godspeed"

We are so sorry four your loss of Charlie!

Today's Pet Tale is about Suzy!
"Suzy was my sassy Queen. She wasn’t a lap cat, but tempt her with tube treats or catnap and she would change that so quickly! I adopted Suzy into her elder years after I lost my first cat two years ago, when I learned that Suzy was looking for a fresh start I knew I had to meet her. Her foster family hadn’t warned me that her ‘fresh’ start included a lion cut! Still, I knew she was perfect. Suzy got me through my first round of covid, which allowed me to stay home from work and bond with her. I loved watching as she grew back into her fur, and her confidence. I hope I was a loving last stop for Suzy in her life journey." Our deepest condolences to Suzy's family!

Today's Pet Tale is about Hedgie!
"Hedgie began his life at Muddy Creek Farms, in Oxford MI. At 6 weeks old, he found his forever family with the Sparks. He spent his first week at home, as spikey little ball. Soon enough, he got used to his new home and became a very social, active, and happy little hedgehog. His happy chirps were heard often, especially while he ran around the house, exploring. Hedgie enjoyed running on his wheel, burrowing into blankets, and being outside where he loved finding hiding spots in the long grass. Hedgie was also a big traveler. He enjoyed accompanying his family on trips, especially if it was a camping trip. Hedgie has been to several states, where he did quite a bit of sight seeing. He was always up for an adventure, especially when it came to sneaking into restaurants; as he knew he would always get his favorite food, chicken. Hedgie had no fear and found it amusing to tease his cat siblings, who would watch him closely, but knew better not to mess with him. He was a great addition to the family and brought joy and love to all who met him. He will be greatly missed. RIP sweet baby!" Our condolences to Hedgie's family!

Todays Pet Tale is about Gracie!
"Her fur coat color was called “Sable”. Most English Springer Spaniels coat colors are Liver & White, Black & White, and Tri-color. Her coat was every hair color consisted of red, brown, black, white fur. Gracie was born in Carson City, MI and came from a litter of 12! Her given birth name was Foxy and she was indeed Foxy, Beautiful! I brought her home at 8 weeks old. She was very shy & timid, for a short time! In the beginning, I had to pick her up & carry her while starting out on our daily walks. She was very smart and learned the typical commands-sit, stay, come, wait, leave it, shake, turn around, crawl-all rather quickly, Gracie loved being outdoors, probably more so in colder weather. She loved the snow & me rolling snowballs to her so she could attack them. She loved to lay on the paddle boat and watch the fish swimming. She LOVED digging up small rocks and sticks from the bottom of the lake. She knew how to breathe under water…I could see the bubbles. Gracie’s growing up difficulties was the potty training. It took weeks for her stubborn highness to get it. High on her list however were her “babies” (toys)! Lambie was her favorite. Her most endearing quality was her love for me and how she wanted to always be close. Gracie loved to sleep, at times, on my neck, if I was lying on my stomach. She would drape her body over my neck, with her head hanging down. (Yes! I let her sleep with me.) This started at 9 weeks old. As she grew older (and bigger) she would sleep at the top of my pillow, basically almost on top of my head. That love continued until her death. She lost most of her hearing & eyesight, but never lost her desire for sharing her love, her paw, her kisses or for hiding on her front porch watching the world go by. She was my “Sunshine on a cloudy day and every day”." Our deepest sympathies to Gracie's family!
