If you harvest a buck and want it mounted, bring it in ASAP!
Can’t make it that day? Freeze it immediately.

Three days is too long not to be frozen! Leaving it in a “cool spot” for a few days lets bacteria start breaking down the hide—by then, the damage is done and the hair will fall out no matter how skilled the taxidermist.

We’re here to help! 🦌
