Public service announcement!!!
If you do not know how or are not comfortable caping a deer DO NOT DO IT. We cape your deer for free if Hunted Dreams is mounting your deer. THE BIGGEST DEER of the year this year is going to look horrible because the hunter cut big holes in the cape and does not want to replace it. Sadly We are not magicians. While we can fix alot of things. When we fix holes in the neck you loose size. And if the hole is cut all w***y nilly we have to cut out more to make it sew up. Then your big deer now has a tiny little neck. While bullet holes or arrow hole are a easy fix normally a oops cut is not so easy.
Also if you are taking your deer to a butcher this year be sure they know what they are doing. There is absolutely no reason anyone should cut any where on a neck or armpits of a deer. If you need to know who to take your deer to for processing give us a shout we will be happy to give you a few options.

"Here’s a shoulder mount we recently completed. This deer was ready for a little while, but the customer just had time and picked it up last weekend. Along with the mount, we made custom gun racks for a perfect display of some antique fi****ms. Check out these two amazing mounts! The buck was harvested by a youth hunter early during archery season, and the turkey was harvested last May. Although the turkey arrived well after it was harvested with just a stunning beard and banded legs we still got it mounted up and back quickly for our customer. We've crafted a fantastic presentation for it, and a tail can easily be added for an extra touch!

Absolutely love these deer whiskers! As we refine our skills, we find ourselves dedicating more attention to the finer details, like these. Collin has done an exceptional job preparing the deer capes this year, making it easier for me to deliver a quality mount for you. Just look at those whiskers! While many taxidermists send their hides to a tannery, which often leads to the loss of whiskers, we take a different approach. Some quality taxidermists remove and later replace these whiskers, but not all make it back. Here, we tan everything meticulously, ensuring that every whisker remains intact. My favorite detail? The white nose hairs on the wings of the nose. I always ensure they are clean and prominent on every deer that leaves our shop.

We pride ourselves on our attention to detail!
