dog rescue group powered by an ALL-VOLUNTEER staff who are passionate about improving the lives of pets in their community. Our foster families provide homeless, abandoned, or abused pets with the love and training needed to heal their wounds, which allows them to make a successful transition into a new forever home. Our MISSION is to reduce PET ABANDONMENT & OWNER SURRENDERS by holding adoption events, promoting low-cost spay/neuter programs, and by creating a compassionate, well-informed foster-home network. We are committed to creating a compassionate community where stray, abandoned, or neglected animals are non-existent; and where destroying animals is no longer used as a means of population control. Animals that are unwanted, abused, neglected, or ill; we are dedicated to ensuring their life from this point forward is an amazing one. This 501c3 NOT-FOR-PROFIT rescue proudly supports NO-KILL and PRO-SPAY/NEUTER philosophies. We rescue from high kill, overcrowded shelters from all over the country. We vet, transport and foster pets until the perfect match is made between you and one of our adoptable pets!

Meet Cooper…..

Cooper is a sweet, happy, playful one-year-old, 60-pound Lab/Hound. He is crate and house trained, very food motivated, and knows several commands: sit, shake, and stay. Cooper enjoys going for walks and playing with kids and other dogs. Cooper was rescued from an overcrowded kill shelter and has never had a home of his own.  Cooper needs a home with a fenced in yard and NO cats or chickens. If you are looking for a fun and loyal companion, Cooper may be the perfect one! ❤️

All Pals for Paws pets are spayed/neutered, groomed, have updated shots plus Leptospirosis, are micro-chipped, dewormed, checked for heartworm and tick-borne diseases, and are on heart-worm and flea and tick prevention. Dentals are done if needed.

Hey Hey Pals Fans!!

We're excited to help our friends in Kentucky find forever homes for Minion and Summer Shoes, two wonderful animals currently in a high intake shelter.

By working together, we can make a real difference in their lives. Pals is seeking Fosters, Foster to Adopt or Adoptive homes in Indiana to provide a loving and stable environment for these deserving animals before we can commit to bringing them to Pals For Paws!

While we don't know everything about Minion and Summer Shoes, we've shared what we do know below their pictures.

ZIGGY HAS BEEN WITH US FOR 1285 DAYS. He is a senior dog that needs a home now. We fear he will live his last days here. We would love nothing more than to see Ziggy adopted but we would consider someone fostering him and providing him the love and comfort he deserves in his final years. Please do not post rescue names to send him to. He needs a person, not another kennel.

Is it the expense of his allergy meds and food that is keeping you from fostering? BCAS is offering to pay for the cost of his allergy meds and food in hopes to get him into a good home. He is 8.5 years old and his grey shows more and more each day. How many years does he have left?

WHAT HE NEEDS:
1. TO BE LOVED MORE THAN ANYTHING
2. MUST BE THE ONLY PET IN THE HOME
3. HE IS STRONG SO HE NEEDS A STRONG OWNER OR FENCED IN YARD
4. TO BE SPOILED LIKE NO OTHER
5. ONE DAILY MEDICATION AND SPECIAL FOOD TO KEEP ALLERGIES AT BAY
6. SOMEONE TO TELL HIM WHAT A GOOD BOY HE IS DAILY

This is a courtesy post. This is not a Pals dog. Someone reached out to us because they found a stray his name is Scooby and they have been working with him. They have been trying to find a home for him, but don’t have the connections that we have. We have offered to share to see if anyone would be interested in this pup. He is younger than a year old. He is super sweet and very playful. He gets along great with other dogs and And does well with kids. They have not had him around cats so they cannot say how he would do with them. He has been learning commands. He knows sit and crate so he is crate, trained, and potty trained. She is moving out of state so she is running out of time to find him a home. He will have to go to a shelter if somebody is not able to step forward. Please share or let us know if you are interested in him and we will connect you with the person that took this stray in.

Louie can’t figure out why he hasn’t been chosen yet and honestly neither can we. This boy is the sweetest tiny little boy you will ever meet. He gets along great with other small dogs. He is about 6 pounds and nine months old. He also gets along with cats. He is doing great at his current foster home. He is learning potty training very well. He is fully vetted and ready for a home.
