The Kokomo Humane Society is an open admission shelter with contracts for animal control services with the city of Kokomo and Howard County. We provide sheltering for all animals received, adoption services, humane education, and volunteer opportunities.

Our shelter canines go through a LOT of hot dogs, and we’re running low!

Why hot dogs?
🐶 They help us reward good behavior
🐶 They make training more effective
🐶 They help shy or nervous dogs build trust with staff and volunteers
🐶 They’re great for enrichment activities and kennel-time treats

If you’d like to help, donations of hot dogs can be dropped off at the shelter during business hours.
