Today is one of those days that reminds us why we do what we do.

While Dreamer and Flower were officially adopted some time ago, today they finally headed off to their new home together. Their adopter wanted to make sure everything was absolutely perfect before bringing them home, and her dedication has been incredible. She installed fencing, built a barn, and worked hard to create a safe and beautiful place for them. That level of commitment speaks volumes about the kind of home these horses are joining.

Every horse deserves a family who loves them, but there is something especially special about seeing horses become part of a child’s life. We wish every horse could have children to grow up loving and adoring them. The bond between a child and a horse creates memories, confidence, and lessons that last a lifetime.

We are so happy for Dreamer and Flower as they begin this exciting new chapter. Thank you to everyone who spent time caring for them, loving them, and helping prepare them for their forever home.

Congratulations, Dreamer and Flower! We know you are going to be cherished, spoiled, and loved beyond measure. ❤️🐴

Lumi loves her people and will happily hop onto the couch for cuddles. 🤗 Be ready for her to melt into your hands when you scratch her cheeks. Lumi also loves basking in a sunny window spot. 🌞 She has excellent litter box manners, gets along well with other cats and politely ignores dogs. Lumi’s also up to date on vaccines and spayed. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate friend to share quiet evenings, warm couches and soft sunshine, Lumi is waiting to light up your life.

Congratulations to Fieldstone and Inle (Chance) on finding their forever home together!

These two boys quickly became favorites around the farm, and we have truly enjoyed having them as part of the February Star Sanctuary family. From daily care and training to simply spending time getting to know their personalities, they brought so much joy to everyone who met them.

We would especially like to thank our amazing volunteers. So many people invested their time, energy, patience, and love into these horses. They helped groom them, work with them, care for them, and prepare them for this next chapter. Every successful adoption is possible because of the dedication of people who care so deeply about the animals we serve.

The ladies of oFSS Performance Horses spent countless hours giving refreshers so they would be ready for their new home.

A special thank you to the team at Aftercare Charles Town - Equine Encore Performance at Charles Town for entrusting us with Fieldstone and allowing us to be part of his journey. We are grateful for the partnership and the trust placed in us to help find him the perfect home.

While we will certainly miss seeing Fieldstone and Chance every day, our hearts are full knowing they are beginning this new adventure together. We are so excited for them and know they are headed to a home where they will be loved, cherished, and spoiled for years to come.

Today was an incredibly productive day at February Star Sanctuary!

Reagan and Addy spent part of the day helping our amazing equine chiropractor Leading Edge Equine Solutions LLC work with several of our horses. We are so grateful for this important partnership, and our horses always seem to feel their best after their adjustments.

We also had the pleasure of taking Fieldstone and Chance (Inle) to their new home. While it’s always bittersweet to say goodbye, seeing them step into such a wonderful future makes it all worthwhile. Their new family is already head over heels for them, and we know they are going to be loved, spoiled, and cherished for years to come.

Days like today remind us why we do what we do. Thank you to everyone who supports our mission and helps make these happy endings possible! ❤️
