Earlier, I stopped by Loudoun County Animal Services - walked by every kennel & looked at all the cats & dogs.
Then I came to this room.
Meet Odessa. 💜
I talked to her … & she showed no emotion.
When she finally looked over at me - her soulful eyes were begging for help. 🥺
Odessa has been over looked since January.
She is 5 years old; LOVES all people - including kids.
She is a gentle giant 🥔 at 100 # & wants to be your one & only pet. 👑
They have her in a lovely presidential sweet - TY LCAS 🫶🏻 but she yearns for a family to call her own & it shows 😭💔

Tootsie is currently in our care, receiving treatment with antibiotics and pain medication for burns to his paws, ears, and nose. The poor baby's hair is completely singed. He was caught in a house fire in Boonsboro, Maryland. We are posting about him here to thank everyone who supports our mission. Please pray for tootsie.. Proverbs 12:10. 🙏

Straight from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Cardi P. Beans is the newest member of our little family (we couldn’t let our clients have all the puppy fun, could we??). She is sassy, smart, bilingual, and somehow manages to get her eyeliner perfect every.single.time 🥹
We can’t wait to show off our sweet girl every chance we get, and there will be tons of Cardi Content ™️ coming at ya, okkkuurrrr??? 😜

Willow guardian of the seedlings will be taking a break from her guard duties this weekend and will be in at AWLFC from 12-2 Saturday and Sunday in hopes of finding her furever home!

Laceleaf Pet Services is teaming up with To Dye For MD, Special Tees and Harpers Ferry Brewing for an event centered around local pups and kitties in need of good homes!! Many pets that were given as Christmas gifts end up back in shelters by the end of March, and we want to give those sweet babes another chance to meet the family of their dreams 🥹 please join us April 6th and 7th at Harpers Ferry Brewing to meet these furry friends, learn about fostering opportunities, soak up the beautiful views, drink delicious beers, and shop from over 15 different vendors who are just as excited to boop snoots of all shapes and sizes 🤩
Becky, Erika and I are very proud of and excited for this event, and hope to see many of our friends and followers there!
