I have multiple references and am open to any questions you may have! I have experience with a plethora of animals, (bunnies, reptiles, dogs, cats, pigs, goats, waterfowl etc!)

I missed these little cuties🥰 I'm so happy I got to see them again! I had to make lots of different noises for Mr Murphy to put his ears up but it was so worth it!!

We all have off days, we all have days we say "I'll do it later" or "maybe tomorrow". But tomorrow is never promised, later is not a guarantee. Someone is at the vet begging for one more walk, one more game of fetch, one more minute, but they won't ever get that. Focus on the dog in front of you and go for that walk! I see wayyy too many people owning dogs and not doing anything with them. Dogs were created to have a purpose. Wether that's herding sheep, being a service dog or an active companion! Prioritizing your dog is a must, they have needs, wants, likes and dislikes! Being able to communicate with your dog and provide an outlet will change your relationship for the better.

Dog's are supposed to be man's best friend not man's biggest burden.❣️🐾

Have you ever played with your pooch using a laser pointer or shadows? While it might seem like a fun and positive game, the negative effects from it can be life changing.

Dog's like to chase and catch, this is prey drive, its instinct for them as predators. Playing with lazer pointers or shadows will mimic prey and kick on this "chase and catch" instinct, but with a lazor or shadow, its not physically there, therefore even if the dog touches it, theres no reward. Dog's live in the moment and off reward systems, if you are playing a game with them that has zero reward, just chasing, it will create anxious and impulsive behaviors. They will begin to seek out shadows/lights everywhere, specially the places you've played with them in, when they cannot find it, it can lead to pacing, whining, destructive behaviors and more.

I've personally experienced this, the dog would stare and chase shadows from your phone or the windows for hours if we'd let him, he'd whine when they were gone and he'd pace to find more. It was extremely hard to get him to leave it alone and became a habit for him.

Meet Cosmo, River and Murphy!! I had the pleasure of getting to know them over the past few days and lets just say I'm in love!! Cosmo is such a spunky guy, he cracks me up. Murphy is just a big ol lover dog! And River took some time to warm up but she is the sweetest soul.🥰 and can't forget the cresties!! I visited them every night to say hi😌

Ginger & Chopper were so very wiggly and cheerful this morning! Ginger is gaining confidence and is starting to enjoy walks!! We went farther than we ever have with Chops today 🥰
