Sit Show is headed back to San Antonio, Texas in October! A few days ago we made a post talking about dog sports, specifically IGP. We mentioned that we train for the sport all over Florida, but we also travel all around the country teaching workshops to help other competitors get closer to earning a new title with their dogs 🏆

If you know anyone near San Antonio who wants to give it a try, tell them to come on out October 17-18! If you or your training group is looking for some help, feel free to call or text us to organize a workshop at your training field 📍

More people need a hobby with their dog! So many cool sports exist to fulfill your dog’s genetic desires and you probably haven’t even heard of a lot of of them. IGP is our passion with our own dogs, we have been competing for over a decade and we have multiple USA World Championship teams to show for it 🇺🇸

IGP is a sport that consists of three phases. Tracking, Obedience, and Protection. The protection phase is highlighted in this video, but it’s only a third of the sport! On competition day, judges are looking for a combination of speed, power, and precision from the dog in each exercise to earn the highest points.

This may or may not be the right sport for you and your dog, but one almost certainly exists! If you are anywhere in Central Florida, and are looking for more than just walks around the neighborhood with your dog - get in touch with us for sport training 🐕

Leia has been training with us for a while now, and the progress she’s made is something we’re truly proud of 🤍

She’s improved in so many areas of her life and continues to show us just how capable and willing she is. Leia will need a home where she can be managed and guided, but in return you’ll get a fun, loving dog who thrives on training. Whether it’s obedience, agility, or just learning something new, she’s all in.

She’s sweet, she’s eager, and she has so much to give to the right person.

We feel so lucky to have been part of Leia’s journey… she has done so, so good! We love her so much! 💕
