Green Burial Pet Sanctuary exists because our animals deserve care in life, in death, and in memory.

Families may choose whole-body green burial or burial of cremated remains in a peaceful natural setting in Kingston, WA.
For some, it is a final resting place.
For others, it is a place to visit and remember.

For many, it is a way to let love return gently to the earth.

This sanctuary gives families another choice, one rooted in compassion, nature, and permanence.

Why create a Green Burial Pet Sanctuary?

Because pets are family.

And when they die, many families want something more meaningful than an afterthought, a cardboard box, or ashes tucked away because they don’t know what else to do.

Green Burial Pet Sanctuary offers another choice.

Here, pets may be buried naturally, either as a whole-body burial or as cremated remains, in a place created for remembrance, tenderness, and connection to the land.

Green burial allows the body to return to the earth in a simple, natural way. It avoids unnecessary materials, supports a gentler goodbye, and gives families a place they can return to.

For those who choose cremation, burial of cremated remains offers a permanent place of remembrance instead of keeping ashes in storage, moving them from home to home, or wondering what to do years later.

This sanctuary exists because love deserves a place to land.

Meet Dr. Christin Finn, the heart behind Green Burial Pet Sanctuary in Kingston, Washington.

Dr. Finn is a holistic veterinarian, author, animal advocate, and lifelong caregiver to the animals and people who love them. Her work has always been rooted in the belief that animals are family and that their care should remain thoughtful, respectful, and meaningful through every stage of life.
Green Burial Pet Sanctuary was created from that same belief.

This sanctuary offers families a natural, peaceful place to honor their pets after death, whether through whole-body green burial or burial of cremated remains. It is a place where grief, love, nature, and remembrance can exist together.

For many families, saying goodbye to a beloved animal is one of the hardest moments of their lives. Dr. Finn’s vision is to make that goodbye softer, more grounded, and connected to the earth.

Follow along as we share more about the sanctuary, the land, and the many ways pets can be remembered here.
