🌡️ Hot Weather is Coming—Is Your Pet Ready? 🌡️

As we head into June, temperatures are rising! Now's the time to prepare your pet for summer heat.Heat danger signs:
🔥 Excessive panting or drooling
🔥 Weakness or collapse
🔥 Bright red gums
🔥 Vomiting or diarrhea
🔥 Confusion or stumblingKeep your pet safe:
✅ NEVER leave in parked cars (even with windows cracked!)
✅ Provide shade and fresh water always
✅ Walk during cooler morning/evening hours
✅ Avoid hot pavement (if it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for paws!)
✅ Watch brachycephalic breeds closely (Bulldogs, Pugs, etc.)
✅ Consider cooling mats or vests for outdoor timeHigh-risk pets:

Short-nosed breeds
Thick-coated dogs
Senior pets
Overweight pets
Pets with heart/lung conditions

Memorial Day Weekend Safety Tips!
BBQs, picnics, and celebrations are coming—keep your pets safe!
Foods to AVOID:
❌ Corn on the cob (causes blockages!)
❌ Cooked bones (splinter & cause injuries)
❌ Onions & garlic (in burgers, marinades)
❌ Grapes (potato salad ingredient!)
❌ Alcohol
❌ Chocolate desserts
❌ Xylitol in sugar-free items
Safe for pets:
✅ Plain grilled chicken (no bones/seasoning)
✅ Plain hamburger (no onions/garlic)
✅ Carrots
✅ Green beans
✅ Their regular treats!
Other hazards:
