Can you believe a week from today of July 4th?! We can’t either. On Friday 7/4 we will be closed for daycare. We will have staff with our boarding guests. Holiday boarding drop offs and pickups have been arranged. If you would like to send your dog another day next week please let us know. We will be open normal hours all other days.

Tuesday we are pretty sure the earth opened up and a portal straight to hell emerged. The air was hot. The ground was set to scorched earth. We had to wet down the driveway every hour otherwise the pups feet would burn. It’s been hot before but man this was next level. Shout out to our staff who was out in this heat all day. Monday mashup was more like Monday meltdown…and we mean that in a literal way. Mother Nature got out her flamethrower and just torched us. We managed to have fun with props, pools and hoses. What else can you do? Tomorrow will be as hot as it gets around here. For our guests that attend we will be spraying down the parking lot with water to keep the asphalt from burning paws. The mist in the dog area keeps the turf at a cooler level. We just gotta get through the next two days and then just normal summer rolls back around. Tag yourself if you see your pup.

As you have probably heard it’s going to be HOT the next few days. What do we do? All we usually do. We have pools out. We have the hoses misting the dog area. We will cycle dogs and humans inside for AC breaks. We have giant industrial fans. We have shade in all dog areas. We hunker down and take it easy.
