Creekside Equestrian We are a stable in NEPA offering riding lessons for beginner - advanced students, full care horse boarding and training

We are a small, family friendly facility in Northeastern Pennsylvania catering to those who wish to enjoy horses in a stress free environment. We offer a variety of services including riding lessons, boarding, training, horses for lease, and quarantine care. Our farm also has an active rescue, rehabilitation and placement program dedicated to keeping horses out of harms way.

Welcome back to โœจMare Mondayโœจ where we introduce you to one of the many great mares that call Creekside Equestrian home.

Todayโ€™s featured horse is Alice (Alice N Hayes). Alice joined us as a weanling in 2020 from Hayes Creek Ranch in Tennessee. She is by Nitty Gritty Hancock and out of Miss Devils Tyree. As her breeding would suggest, Alice is a gritty, athletic mare with big opinions. She established herself as self proclaimed queen of the farm as a yearling and has no plans of relinquishing her title.

Alice unfortunately suffered an injury in the pasture as a 3 year old which has limited her career, but sheโ€™s never let it slow her down!

Itโ€™s Mare Monday!!

Since we featured Penny last week, it only felt right to feature her little sister, Peanut this week.

Peanut (HGF No Time For Lopin) is a 2025 POA by Clayhill Lazy Loper, and out of Whiz Chic N Time, the same pairing that gave us our super pony, Penny. When Jordin at Hidden Gem Farm sent us her photo when Peanut was just a few hours old, it was an immediate YES!

Peanut is well known around here for her sass and โ€œexpressiveโ€ ears, but she doesnโ€™t mean it.
She is currently in pony kindergarten and learning all of the things that will make her a great pony like her sister in the future. Our hope is that one day Peanut will join our lesson string and teach the next generation of riders about the joys of a great pony โ™ฅ๏ธ
