Happy Veterinary Assistant Week! 🐾

We could not let this week go by without taking a moment to recognize and celebrate some very important people at Eagle's Nest - our veterinary assistants!

They are often the unsung heroes of the hospital. Whether they are helping restrain patients, preparing exam rooms, assisting with treatments, comforting anxious pets, cleaning up messes, or jumping in wherever they are needed, they play a critical role in the care we provide every single day. We are so thankful for our amazing veterinary assistants! Please join us in showing them some appreciation this week. 💕

Happy Veterinary Receptionist Week! 🐾

We could not let this week go by without taking a moment to recognize and celebrate some very important people at Eagle's Nest - our reception team!

If you have interacted with our hospital, you have seen them in action. They keep things moving, support our clients, and handle a constant flow of questions, changes, and surprises without batting an eye.

They are a huge part of how our hospital runs and the experience our clients and patients have when they are here.

We are so thankful for our amazing receptionists! Please join us in showing them some appreciation this week. 💕

Spring = kitten season!

These four little ones are about 4 weeks old and already have quite the story. They have been bottle-fed after their mom was no longer around and they are now safe, warm, and very loved.

This time of year it is not uncommon to find young kittens outdoors. If you do, it can be hard to know what the “right” thing is.

Here are a few general guidelines:
🐾If the kittens look clean, warm, and quiet, their mom may still be nearby and caring for them
🐾If they appear cold, weak, or are crying constantly, they may need help
🐾When in doubt, it is always okay to call the King George Public Animal Shelter

Situations can vary and a quick conversation can help you make the best decision for them.

For now, we will just be over here appreciating these tiny faces and the people who stepped in to help!💛

Grooming Updates! 🐶✂️🛁🐾

After 3 wonderful years, Bri is hanging up her grooming shears to begin her next chapter as a full-time mom. We are so grateful for the care, patience, and kindness she has shared with so many pets and families over the years, and she will be greatly missed!

We are also excited to share that Angela, who joined our team in December, will officially begin taking grooming appointments today, March 31! She looks forward to meeting your pets and will be taking appointments for wash, dry, and basic grooming services.

As a reminder, Becca will continue providing full grooming services, and grooming appointments are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Grooming is closed on Wednesdays. We are grateful for your support as our grooming team begins this new chapter!
