Official Notice of Retirement
King George Veterinary Clinic
January 2, 2026
After 31 years of dedicated service to the pets and families of King George and surrounding counties and 40 years in veterinary practice, I have made the decision to retire. I am deeply grateful for the trust you placed in me and my staff over the years, and the relationships built through the care of your beloved pets.
Please note that the clinic will no longer provide veterinary services as of January 28, 2026. The clinic will remain open for an additional two weeks, so clients can pick up records. Clients may visit the clinic for a paper copy of the pet's medical chart notes for a $10 fee per pet. Additionally, clients may request the electronic veterinary records be printed or sent via email at no charge. Please contact the clinic in advance to arrange record retrieval.
I extend my sincere appreciation to all clients for their support and loyalty throughout the years. It has been my professional privilege to provide veterinary care to your animals and to serve this community. I will miss you and your pets, and I wish you all the best in the years ahead.
Respectfully,
Dr. John P. Niznik
Owner and Veterinarian
