It’s a great day for Kilgore High School at Texas State Solo & Ensemble! Eight students performed solos for a judge and ALL OF THEM medaled! 7 gold medals and 1 silver!

Congratulations to these hard-working students, and a special thank you to David Berryhill for accompanying them.

Also many thanks are due to Richard Leppert for working with them and Zach Brooks for working with the cellos.

Their private teachers also deserve accolades: Lisa Lininger—cello and Sarah Fruge—piano..
