We just concluded veterinary staff appreciation week this week, but we wanted to share why we appreciate veterinary staff every day.

We appreciate them for the early mornings and the late nights. For the phone calls checking in, and for the sweet baby talk to the scared pets. For stabilizing them during emergencies, and monitoring them under anesthesia. We appreciate their empathy even when our patients are trying to bite us. They think about your pets before they go to sleep and wonder how they are doing. They look out for each other. They cry both when they say goodbye to an old friend and from joy when meeting a new one.

The veterinary staff I know are people with one mission - to love the animals and the people that care for them. They are the best people I know, and the world is a better place because of them, not just this week but every single day.

Shout out 🎉to all of our amazing clients and friends at Starke Animal Hospital and Keystone Heights Animal Hospital for all of the generous donations! Donations were dropped off today at Friends of Bradford County Animal Services 😺 and some will be picked up tomorrow by Roland Senior Dog Sanctuary! 🐶
AND….I know we have some Rottie lovers out there! Meet LEO is a 1-2 year old Rottweiler currently waiting for the right person to find him at the shelter. If you know Rotties, then you know he won’t trust you when you meet him, but once he gets to know you he will be your most trusted and loyal friend forever! LEO is our featured shelter pet in need. 🐾 #

🐾 HOMES NEEDED FOR 2 KITTENS🐾

🐾Meet Reina & Theo! 🐾

These two special-needs kittens, about 5–6 months old, are looking for a loving home together. ❤️

Reina was found with a back injury and, after nursing care and rehab, is thriving! She has some hind-end weakness, but it is not painful or limiting. She is playful, spayed, and vaccinated—and she is Theo’s best friend and support.

Theo was found several months ago with no eyes. Despite this, he is a happy, loving, playful kitten who loves to be held. He relies on Reina to help him navigate his world. He is neutered and vaccinated, and otherwise healthy.

These two have become a special pair, and we would love to see them find a home together. 🥰
