Howdy,

Palomino Pines Guest Ranch and Horse Company is looking for an Assistant Ranch Manager. We are coming into our busy summer season and our team is growing!

We are looking for an individual who has a strong background in anything and everything property maintenance with some large animal experience as well. The main role of this individual will be to operate heavy machines, transport 5th wheel trailers, use chainsaws, perform snow removal, create new and repair existing fencing, muck stalls, feed the herd and more. This individual will be maintaining that day in and day out needs of the property.

Aside from overseeing the daily needs of the ranch this individual will be assisting in our horse operations as well. Knowing how to tack a horse, identify dangerous situations and assist with medication needs is required. This person needs to be able to ride up to 8 hours in the saddle a day during the summer. We are able to provide further training if needed. Our trails and horses are extremely user friendly and our tack room is beyond organized making for a very user friendly experience.

Looking for local or Midwestern applicants. Someone that has been raised on country living and understands “country hours”. Someone that understands the highs and lows and Midwestern weather. Someone that has been around large animals for years and doesn’t get shaken up. Someone who has a solid equine knowledge but wants to make It great. Someone that sees things through and is self motivated.

This would be a full time “on property” position with housing provided. 5 days paid vacation. $13-15/hr based on experience. Looking for only one individual and hiring immediately.

We wanted to start this post by expressing our deepest appreciation for the support we have received from our community, peers, staff and current boarders. Just over one year ago we started with 18 empty stalls and are now down to just TWO openings.

Our family feels blessed to be trusted with these amazing animals. We purchased this property to care for horses to the best of our abilities and share this lifestyle with others. With horse loving people roaming the property all hours of the day, it really makes the ranch come to life!

We pride ourselves in providing top of the line amenities for both the horses and their owners. Here at Palomino Pines we provide anything and everything western riding. Yet, boarders of all disciplines are here and welcome to continue joining. We can't wait for what the future holds. Please come join our ranch family today.
