💕 Happy, Happy Adoption Day! 💕

Hi all... it's Arlo. I'm the one in the back closest to Mom. I am past thrilled to share the news I am in my forever home. I am adopted!

It's raining Yorkies! Just look at my beautiful family! We have my wonderful Mom, and my 2 canine siblings, Sammie (standing up ) and Emma. I have the siblings I really wanted. Plus guess what else? I have a HUGE fenced-in yard to run, run, and run in. I have so much energy and I love my yard. I can take my toys out and play as long as I want. Mom is home almost all the time, another thing I needed.

It's an adjustment for everyone, but I'm settling in nicely. We are all getting to know each other. I got comfortable pretty quickly and feel right at home.

Talk about an ugly duckling becoming a beautiful swan. That would be me. Looking back at my condition before I came to PNK, I don't even know who that dog is. I'll add pictures in the comments. I was so matted that the shelter shaved most of me. Jennifer got the rest. I was completely shaved down to my skin. But, hair grows back and mine grew back to be a beautiful silky golden color. I was so dirty I was brown before. I looked very rough. But, that's in the past and no worries of it ever happening again. Oh what a feeling!

I want to thank everyone who put in an application for me. I needed a certain type of Home. I really appreciate everyone wanting to give me that home. As always, many thanks go out to our amazing supporters who helped make this magical moment happen!

I have a new name now......Cody

Well, I've been still long enough. Time to make some more laps in the yard!

Hi everyone! 

My name is Alfredo and I just joined the PNK family this week. My paperwork reads I am an approximate 1 year old male Maltese mix. I weigh around 16 lbs. I was found as a stray, taken to a shelter, and no one came for me.

I am very dirty and do not smell very pleasant. I really need a haircut too. Then maybe I can see! We will be visiting our wonderful friend Jennifer at All Things Dogs soon. I know I'm going to be so handsome. And I won't have to be shaved! 

In foster care so far, I have been really sweet and goofy. I'm very playful. I have loved everyone I've met. That includes other canines. We are working on house training. I ride well and don't do too badly on a leash. I am a young dog so I have young dog energy.  I say let's just play!

My neuter, exam, and screenings are scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 19th. We are really hoping to get in earlier. Well, Foster Mom wants us to get in earlier. I wouldn't mind skipping it. 😜

Hi all..... it's Mimi. I am just sitting here thinking it has been quite a day. I'm glad it's over. We are leaving the hospital as soon as Foster Mom gets the paperwork. I want to go home and go to bed.

But first, I wanted to let you know all went well with my spay and screenings. My ADexam found no issues. I am a healthy little girl!
IMPORTANT: I was aged 5 years instead of 3 years. So I'm just a little older. No wonder I love my couch time! I weighed in at 8.4 pounds. I do shed.

I will be ready to join you by the end of the week. You won't be disappointed. I am so so sweet and loving. I love to be held or lay in your lap. I am low energy and laid-back.I do well on my leash and in a vehicle. I am close to being house trained. I use a doggie door. I have a cute little underbite that just seals the deal. It makes me adorable!

Well, that's it for me, friends. I am sleepy. I can't wait for Foster mom to tell me all about my new home I'm going to.

Hi all.... it's Arlo. It has been a while, and I wanted to let everyone know I am still available for adoption. Look how my hair has grown! It's a beautiful silky, golden color!

For those who may not have met me yet: I am a 4 year old neutered male Yorkie mix. I weigh around 10 pounds I do not shed.

I am super sweet and wicked smart. I love everyone I meet. I'm not completely housetrained, but close. I am high energy and love to play whether it be with toys or other dogs. I absolutely love other dogs! I will absolutely love you too. Almost too much. Velcro dog I am. You will never have to worry about being alone again....... not even going to the bathroom! I do not like to be crated. I will bark, bark, and bark. There are 2 types of homes I can potentially be successful in:

1. In a home with another dog(s) that matches my energy level and playfulness. I do have separation anxiety, and having a playful companion will definitely help with that. However, I love ALL the attention. You will have to remind me to wait my turn for loving. A fenced-in yard would be ideal for us to run and play in.

2. In a home with no other dogs, but I need a person who is home most of the time. Or a family when there is usually at least one person home. This way all the attention is mine, and if someone is home that will cut out the separation anxiety. I need an active person, who likes to take long walks and play with me and my beloved toys. However, remember if I am left alone and crated, I will bark incessantly. I do not do well crated at night either. I am great with older children, age 10 or above. I am unsure about younger children.

I have the making of such a wonderful companion, but there are a few issues we may need to work on. You see, the thing is, I have a fear of being alone. My first family just left me in a shelter. I'm so afraid that may happen again. In time, however, I will learn you are coming back. The separation anxiety will cease. We will just have to give it time. I do well riding in a vehicle and on my leash. I can learn a new command in a minute. I am highly trainable. To top it off, I have become such a beautiful dog. Just look at that face!🥰

Hi all..... it's Mimi. I opted for the sophisticated side pose. I like it! What I also like is feeling clean. It took 3 baths to get the smell of urine and everything else off of me! I feel sooooo much better! You can still see pink, which I think makes me look funny, but you can't shampoo it out. It just will take time for it to fade. I wish it would hurry up! I want to be my natural solid white color. Many thanks to our amazing friend Jennifer at All Things Dogs for making me look and feel so much better!

For those who may not have met me yet: I am an approximate 3 year old female small mixed breed. I am believed to be a terrier mix. I weigh around 8 lbs. I am thin from being abandoned and working on gaining weight. I do shed.

I've only been in Foster care a couple of days. But, it's easy to see I am just as sweet as I can be. Hey, I made a rhyme! I am pretty and intelligent! I was good for my nail trim and bath. All 3 of them! I've had a couple of accidents, but I am refreshing my house training skills. I do use a doggie door. Right now, I'm mostly ignoring my canine siblings. They really want to play with me, but I'm just trying to process everything. I've been through a lot. Being abandoned with no food or water, is very scary! I thought I had a family. But they just left me. I really want a forever family who won't abandon me. I love to be held and sit on your lap. I also love attention and I will give it right back. I have been low energy and laid-back. I do a few zoomies and I'm right back on the couch. Children 5 years old and above should be fine.

I am now ready for my spay, exam, and screenings, which are scheduled for this Monday, Oct. 26th. I will be ready to join you by the end of next week! I'm so excited to meet you.

Hi everyone!

My name is Mimi. My paperwork reads I am an approximate 3 year old female small mixed breed. Maybe some terrier in there? I weigh around 8 lbs. I do shed.

Before I tell my story, I want to share the significance of my name. A donation was made in memory of a special woman named Sandy by her daughter. Her daughter stated Sandy was a wife of almost 50 years, Mom to 3, and Mimi to 3. She loved to support animal rescues and the donation was made in honor of her birthday and her 3rd year in heaven. She passed away from colon cancer. The request was made to name a dog Mimi, as Sandy was the best Mimi. I proudly take on this name.

Now my story...... I was abandoned in a home with no food or water. I don't know how long I was there, but I was so thankful to be rescued. I was extremely thirsty and starving. Someone dyed me pink. Most has faded off of my hair, but I still have some on my skin. I smell horrible. My nails are very long. We will be visiting our wonderful friend Jennifer at All Things Dogs for a much-needed bath and trim soon.

I just arrived to Foster care so we are all learning about each other. One thing for sure, I am very sweet and love to eat, understandably. I like to be held and sit in your lap. I am a confident little girl, especially when meeting new dogs. I am not aggressive at all, but can come on a bit strong. I seem to be mostly house trained and instantly knew how to use the doggie door. I am thin from being without food, but Foster Mom said she would gladly fatten me up!

My spay, exam, and screenings are scheduled for this Monday, Oct. 26th. I will be ready to join you by the end of next week! In the meantime, I'm going to play, sleep, and eat eat eat.

💕 Happy, Happy Adoption Day! 💕

Hi all..... it's Rosie. I'm so excited to say I have found my forever home. I am adopted!

Just look at my beautiful new family! I came right on in and made myself at home. The confidence I built in my Foster Home really paid off. It didn't take long and I was doing zoomies in my fenced in backyard! Wow, it felt good to cut loose, knowing I no longer have a care in the world. I am home.

I didn't exactly have the best start in my young life. Being infested with fleas so bad you scratch your hair out is not fun. I was dirty and didn't have any opportunities for socialization. But, I have the rest of my life to make up for that. I am going to soak it all up. I will spend my days lounging in the sun, following my humans around, and of course, zooming in the backyard.
Sounds pretty good to me!

💕 Happy, Happy Adoption Day! 💕

Hi all.... it's Dougie. I'm thrilled to be able to announce I am in my forever home. I am adopted!

I admit, I did not make this picture easy. Talk about wiggly! But, I think we ended up with a pretty good picture of my new Mom and me. I like the way she is staring so lovingly at me. Now I kind of feel bad for wiggling so much. But there were so many new sights and smells to discover! Plus, my toy was on the floor! I can't be too far away from my beloved toys!

I got to pick out my favorite bed so now I have somewhere to stash my toys. It's just me so I don't know why I feel the need to do that. I kinda like being the only child. All the attention is mine and I don't have to share my toys! I love when we play fetch, but I don't always bring them back!

I am ready for all the spoiling I am going to receive. I arrived at PNK a dirty, matted, lost little boy. Now I have found my way. It's nothing like knowing you are home. I'm going to make so many friends here.

Hi all.... it's Dougie. It has been a while! The last time you saw me, I had been shaved. My hair is growing back beautifully, and my coloring is simply gorgeous! Yes, I feel like I can brag a little!

I had surgery? What surgery? I feel like I could run a marathon and jump a few hurdles. But they told me I had neuter surgery and everything went great. They also said my exam found no issues and all my screenings were good! I'm a healthy young man! I was aged 2-3 years and weighed in at 11.6 pounds.

Applications are closed for me, so I am hoping the next picture you see of me I will be in my forever home! Hooray!

I have to go home and rest? Yuck, I don't want to rest. I want to play with my squeaky toys I love so dearly. I am definitely ready for some dinner. Let's go home Foster Mom.
