We have 86 calendars left. There was a big up front cost to purchase the calendars and there are ongoing postage costs as well. The sad truth is that we have barely broken even. Selling the rest of the calendars will allow us to have a successful fundraiser and help the rescue continue to serve this wonderful breed and the humans who adore them. Please buy a calendar if you have not yet done so.

DONATIONS BY CHECK: Any donation of $30 or more made the date we first offered the calendars forward earns you a calendar. (Until we run out of them) .

DONATIONS BY PAYPAL: We only have ONE Paypal button on the site and it has to serve many purposes. When you click the DONATE button from the home page, it takes you to a screen with the Rescue's mailing address, as well as the Paypal options.

You have to choose one of the first three items, and also a payment option of a One Time Donation or a Monthly Pledge. For the purposes of the calendar, choose one time donation. When you have made your selection and press the Donate button in the lower right corner, you will be taken to a second screen, where the information you chose on the previous screen shows on this page as well, along with some choices of how much of a donation you want to make. There is an "other" selection if you want to make the minimum $30 donation.

Next, please put "calendar" in the field labeled "I would like this donation to be used for (optional)." This is an extra step because anyone donating $30 or more will get one, but just so you know this is what you are asking for. Lastly, hit the "donate" button.

I’m a handsome 2-year-old collie boy weighing 76 pounds. The rescue folks think I could feel my very best with about 10 pounds off, so I’m already working on that with a healthy diet and regular exercise. Axel is my dad and Star is my sister, and the three of us came into rescue together after our family went through a divorce. We are excited about starting this new chapter and look toward brighter days ahead. I’m house-trained and crate-trained, and I ride very nicely in the car, making me a great companion for outings and adventures. I’m also working on loose-leash walking and my basic obedience commands. I’m a smart boy and eager to please, especially when gentle guidance and praise are involved. Personality-wise, I’m a sweet, kind fellow with a fairly easygoing nature. I enjoy being around people, taking things at a comfortable pace, and just being part of whatever is going on. My evaluation is still in progress, so be sure to check back soon for updates as the rescue learns more about me and watches me continue to blossom.

I'm a one-year-old puppy girl who is housetrained, crate trained, and a great car rider. My person was elderly and, sadly, couldn’t care for me anymore, so I came to rescue in hopes of finding my forever family. I already know my basic commands and am working hard on loose-leash walking and keeping all four paws on the floor. I’m a true snuggle bunny who loves being right by your side. My evaluation is still in progress, but so far I’ve been a very good girl with no chewing up the house and no trash adventures. I’m ready for a loving home where I can settle in for good and be someone’s forever companion. Andi

I’m a sweet 5-year-old collie boy, weighing 62 pounds. Star and Cleatus are my kids, and the three of us came into rescue when our family went through a divorce. While it was a big change for us, it also means we’re getting the chance to start fresh and find loving homes where we can truly shine. I’m house-trained and crate-trained, and I’m gently working on my basic commands and loose-leash walking. I have a playful side too and I'm the hockey player of the group and love batting a ball around the yard. The rescue folks are still learning all about me, but so far they’re seeing a loving, fun boy with a lot of heart. Please check back soon as they get to know me even better and share more about my journey. Axel

I’m a sweet 2-year-old collie girl weighing 68 pounds, and I could stand to lose just a few with a healthy routine of good food and exercise. Axel is my dad and Cletus is my brother, and the three of us came into rescue together after our family went through a divorce. You might notice I have two blue eyes that I can see just fine out of and one floppy ear. I’m house-trained and crate-trained, and I ride very nicely in the car, making me an easy companion for trips and outings. I’m also working on loose-leash walking and my basic obedience commands, and I’m trying my best as I learn new routines. There are so many new sights, sounds, and experiences here, and I can be a little shy at first until I get to know you. Once I feel comfortable, my gentle and loving nature begins to shine through. My evaluation is still in progress, so please check back soon for updates as the rescue gets to know me better and shares more about how I’m settling in. Star

I’m a handsome collie guy around 5 years old, weighing in at about 71 pounds though I could stand to lose around 8 pounds with a little diet and exercise. I get along wonderfully with everyone and absolutely love to play. Playing is my favorite thing! If there aren’t other dogs around, I’m perfectly happy entertaining myself, and I’m always up for a fun game of fetch. I was picked up as a stray with an Aussie buddy, and it’s pretty clear we once belonged to someone, but sadly no one came forward to claim us. Despite that, I’ve kept my great manners. I’m housetrained, crate trained, doing well with my obedience commands, and learning to walk nicely on a loose leash. To top it all off, I have the sweetest eyes you really can’t help but fall in love with. 💙 Garland

Now that I’ve finished raising my boys who are all healthy, happy, and ready for their forever families it’s finally my turn to find a home of my own. I’m only two years old, so I’m still a bit of a puppy myself. I’m discovering how wonderful life can be, from doing zoomies in the backyard to playing with my collie buddies. Because I spent so much of my young life focused on being a mama, I never really had the chance to learn all the “big girl” things that other dogs pick up early on. So right now, I’m working on my leash-walking skills and learning how to greet new people politely. It’s honestly a challenge, because I’m a love bug who wants to wiggle right into your arms the moment I see you. I just have so much affection to give that it sometimes spills out all at once! One thing I’m very proud of is that I’m housetrained and crate trained. I don’t really need a crate anymore, but I’m fine with one if you want me to use it. Mostly, I just want to be near you cuddling, napping, watching you, or curling up at your feet. I’m gentle, sweet, eager to learn, and so excited about this brand new chapter of my life. Jezzy

I’m a 2½-year-old proud father of those five handsome puppy boys. I was a good dad and always comforted them when their mom was away. Recently, I had a “special operation,” so my puppy-making days are officially behind me which is probably for the best since I’m still a youngster myself! I’m a sweet, easygoing fellow who loves getting pets, playing with toys, and hanging out with the other dogs. I’m housetrained and crate trained, and I’m learning loose-leash walking and basic obedience commands. I’m pretty good about not jumping up, and I don’t mind a nice brushing, either. Marshall

I’m a one-year-old collie girl, and I’m so grateful to be here at the rescue. As you can see, I’m pretty skinny and my coat hasn’t filled in yet. I came from what they call a backyard breeder. There were many other dogs there, and I feel so sad for the ones who are still waiting to be helped. Because food was scarce, I tend to gobble mine down quickly, but I’m learning that I’ll never have to worry about that again. I’m on my way to a much better life now, one where a loving family will take care of me. I’m a sweet, petite little girl who gets along well with the other dogs and doesn’t mind the cats. I’m doing wonderfully with housetraining, crate training, and I’m learning my basic commands and leash walking, too. I was very good for my first every bath and feel so pretty now. Tasha

Fin has been adopted! Congratulations everyone!

I’m a six-month-old little guy in search of a new home! I’m doing well with housetraining, pretty good on a leash, and I’m learning my basic commands. I’m crate trained, but I’m not a big fan of being in there for long. My previous family realized that having a toddler and a young pup at the same time was a bit too much. I get along great with other dogs and don’t mind the cat but I might give chase if they take off running!
