I received some super digitals of Valor and Stephanie's debut at Hunt Club's Training Horse division from SDH Photography today! So, many good photos it was hard to choose...lol. Makes me happy just to look at these two, she has done a lovely job with him. And, Valor is so enthusiastic about his job!

Rust Never Sleeps (2022) our Thoroughbred baby went to his first show, Bred to Event, at Loch Moy Farm. He was super and he came in third in the 3 yr old division against tough competition! Andy, Stephanie and I are so proud of him for the way he stepped up to all the stress of a trailer ride, new faces and handlers and jumping through a real jump chute! And, he got TWO scores of 10! Final score of 84.49/ 3rd and qualified for the finals in September! Thanks to all volunteers, judges, participants and Loch Moy for offering this wonderful opportunity for young horses.

Valor and Stephanie attended the horse trials at Hunt Club today. Valor did his first Training level in TH division and he 🏆! Big thank you to Stephanie for working with this young horse, all the volunteers and sponsors at Hunt Club, and Andy for holding the fort and taking care of all of us.

Three day old Dakota is giving Harvest fits...a few short videos as the personality is coming out! LOL......a redhead filly for sure! The boys (Flori, Rust, Capstone, and Valor) and Kitten were very interested in the new baby!

More from Saturday afternoon at Morningside as Valor and Stephanie conquered the training level jump course. The hard work of winter and spring is paying off. Just lovely to watch the partnership grow!

Stephanie took Valor to Morningside yesterday afternoon for his first Training Combined Test. They were amazing! Scoring 23.89 in Training test A and clear jumping. Thanks to Stephanie, the judges and volunteers.

It takes a team during foaling season! Big shout out to Nick and Stephanie that first saw Harvest in labor. Well done! Harvest had her baby at 6:15pm on June 25 a mere 321 days (320 is the minimum) post breeding. I think she decided it was much too hot to cook that baby any longer. Foal got a clean bill of health this morning! ♥️

Next up, our young mare Gaia! Gaia is beginning to understand her job, she will be capable of nice extension and lead changes as her training progresses. Not spooky, she is sensitive and will require someone with quiet hands and seat. Good feet, no shoes and WFFS free by parentage.

Not only did the Sills' women ride and take video clips, but they also put together a short video! We are lucky to host such good people at Mares' Nest Farm.

Big thank you to the Sills family for riding and videoing my 6 yr olds in April. First up, Valor got off the farm for few show jump practice rounds. He is exuberant in his work! Couldn't ask for more from the job Stephanie has done with him. ❤️

Valor is in Aiken SC with Stephanie and progressing steadily in his training. Thank you Steph and Julia for taking care of this gifted young horse. Valor (2019) is out of thoroughbred mare Domestique and by jumper stallion Silver Creek's Validation. He's a cheeky boy with a super game attitude!
