Long Veterinary Clinic, Long Veterinary Clinic Daycare and Boarding and Long Veterinary Clinic Grooming are all CLOSED today Monday May 25 in observance of Memorial day.

If you have an emergency call the clinic phone number at 816-635-6616 and follow the prompts to leave a message on the emergency line. Dr. Leighr will return your call as soon as he can. Please be patient in getting a call back for Dr. Leighr may be assisting other clients. If you have an emergency that can not wait for a return call, we refer to Mission Med Vet in Mission Kansas for small animal or Kansas State Veterinary Hospital in Manhattan, Kansas for small and large animal.

Dr. Leighr will be unavailable today Friday May 15 for walk-in appointments, same day emergencies due to being out of the office on day long farm calls to perform routine care for a large herd of retired horses.

🩺 Long Veterinary Clinic will be open for normal business hours both days to answer phone calls, food pick-ups, pre-filled prescription pick-ups, and prescheduled veterinary technician appointments.
Long Veterinary Clinic Daycare and Boarding and Long Veterinary Clinic Grooming will be open as normal.

🚨If you have an emergency we refer to Mission MedVet in Mission, Kansas for small animal and Heartland Equine Hospital in Tonganoxie, Kansas for equine and K-State Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Manhattan, Kansas for large animal.
