We Removed 5 raccoon kits from a soffit earlier this week. Instead of relocating them we let nature do its things and mother raccoon came and got them and took them to her secondary den location.

This is a vole. Often times their damage is confused with moles. Caught these guys while setting traps on a customers lawn. Their damage can become very severe if left untreated. Voles are one of the fastest breeding rodents with females having up to 10 litters a year.

With the fall season here beavers will start to prepare for the winter season and this is when trees are most vulnerable to being chewed and destroyed by the beavers. Give us a call for a free estimate to have them removed. (Picture of me setting up traps for beaver removal)

We often get asked if there is a way to prevent from getting moles in the future. I always tell people if you can completely get rid of the earthworms and grubs and insects then there would be a very good chance of them not returning. A moles main diet is earthworms and they consume up to a dozen worms a day. This is a photo of a mole that I caught in my backyard. I get them every year and sometimes catch several of them a year.

All that rain last night has the moles on the move! If you’re noticing mole activity, don’t wait to contact us. This marks the fourth mole we’ve removed from this property. Ask about our month-to-month mole control program — new moles will inevitably move back in over time, and ongoing management is essential to protect your yard before significant damage occurs.

Sometimes the trap fires and we’re able to catch the mole alive while still on the customers property. As you can see those front paws are made for digging, and those teeth are someting out of a horror movie This guy was relocated to some pasture ground where he won’t be a nuisance to anyone.
