"Bella" is a very sweet AQHA/ABRA mare. 15.1, 17yo. Selling as broodmare sound- but I dont think it will take much to get her sound to show walk/trot. She will pitter patter trot all day long. Rides alone or in a group, traffic doesnt bother her at all. Has some ABRA points in showmanship, horsemanship, and Western pleasure. She has had 2 foals, one is pictured below and is very successful showing. She is an easy keeper, super easy in her stall, no mess and no fuss. This is a great addition to a broodmare herd, or put a little money in her to show. She quickly became a barn favorite with her cute face and luscious mane.

Its hot guys! 🥵

Interesting fact I learned in this heat wave- when the dew point is over 60, your sweat cannot evaporate because the air is already too saturated with moisture. That's why its harder to cool off and why, if you're like me and already sweat a lot, you sweat an extra ungodly amount. 🫠

My water meter is running like crazy, but the livestock are staying hydrated and cooled off.

We had a great time at the Golden Circle show yesterday! I took grown up riders and baby horses and everyone behaved 🤣 Both kids came too, and I cant love it enough. 💗

Ready to Kruze won his first in hand trail outing, being a brave boy and also not trotting too big for me to keep up!
Rockin On the Range just keeps getting more and more solid, winning the ranch trail, ranch riding, and ranchmanship (and I got entertainment points for roping myself in the trail 🤦‍♀️).

Sky and Trading Rumors completed their first no penalty trail run!!! Such a HUGE accomplishment!! Great runs by all our select ladies, so much improvement from our last show. Can't ask for anything more, it shows their dedication and work ethic.

Thanks to Golden Circle for a great, smooth, well run show. Appreciate all the volunteers!

Happy Father’s Day

It takes a special man, to be you.
He who can wipe the grease from his hands and cuddle a newborn baby.
He who tames wild beast, and reads bedtime stories.
He who fixes fence, and puts princess bandaids on a scrape.
He who stares down things that would make anyone afraid, and wipes his eyes when his daughter sings a solo on stage.
He who works until he would collapse from exhaustion, and then sits down to help with algebra until it’s done.
He who takes care of the land and her creatures, and then loads up his family to get to church on time.
He who weathers the storms that come upon the farm and ranch, and stands over his family to shelter them from that wrath.

Drew Gustafson wins in trail and placings in big ranch classes
Merrie-Pat Reynolds McIntire her best show yet with her new horse!
Avery & Holly Patton- each placed in classes of 20+ against kids twice their age! Showed so much maturity in tough traffic! They both cared for their horses meticulously all weekend. Avery carried four small buckets of water to fill the big one 🥰
Susan Lane delighted us with her wit as usual and had some lovely rides getting herself and her horse back in the show pen.
Ranger stepped up and showed so well for me all weekend. I dont always have time for a lot of warm up and sometimes I sit on him longer than I like to be able to coach the next class and he just did whatever I asked 💗 High Point Ranch 19&Over
