My favorite event of the year is in full swing! Stop by Powell Gardens this weekend and experience everything Festival of Butterflies has to offer.

Step into the butterfly conservatory and you’ll be transported to a world where wings shimmer and nature’s beauty takes flight! Wander through gardens bursting with color, enjoy family-friendly activities, and discover how you can help protect pollinators in your own backyard.

This year we’re shining a spotlight on the big, the bold, the breathtakingly beautiful iconic Blue Morpho! These dazzling Neotropical butterflies are world-famous for their electric blue iridescence and mesmerizing presence. The visual arts segment of the KC Fringe Festival kicks off THIS WEEKEND! I am excited to share that my work will be showcased and available for purchase at the iconic Union Station, where it will remain on display until July 25th.

Join me for the opening reception this Sunday at 3:00 PM! I would be thrilled to see the familiar faces of some of my longtime supporters there. Let’s come together to celebrate the incredible talent of artists from KC and beyond. Almost time for my favorite event of the year!

Festival of Butterflies begins next week on July 17th and runs through August 3rd. This year we’re focusing on big, bold, beautiful Morphos! 🦋 You can check out my preservation art in the lobby through out the festival and stop by my little pop-up gift shop on the second and third weekends of the festival. Can’t wait to see so many familiar faces and share my love for butterflies with you!🖤
