I drew up a turtle with a tiki very much like this one with some significant changes, of course. It was for a father and son team who wanted to get tattooed together. They decided on a shark instead, so I have a great drawing and stencil, ready to go that would be a beautiful unique turtle something like this photo which was originally designed by Fred Yrondi.
There is an opening tomorrow, Thursday, here in Carson and I have one opening remaining in Alameda. There might be openings in Sacramento, but it’s pending cancellations. Call me ASAP or text me if you’re interested. 808-734-8677.

I have just a few openings left in California— Carson, Sacramento, and then Alameda. Availability is pretty limited so please get in touch with me soon if you’re interested. You can email me at [email protected] and please put “CA Tattoo” in the subject category so I spot it right away. I’m also making appointments for consultations, which are free of charge. I’m pretty flexible on times as far as that goes. It’s really helpful because we can discuss design significance and meaning, and create something original that’s totally appropriate for you. I’ll be back in California in March/April, so if we do a consultation now, it puts you in good shape to get tattooed then.

It was such a pleasure to do this piece on . I’ll be back in LA, Sacramento, and Alameda soon. My schedule is relatively full, but I am make appointments to do consultations which are free of charge. Meeting and discussing design and symbolism is helpful if you’re planning a tattoo. I’m taking bookings now from my next trip which will be in late February through April. Meet Pua, my new cow-cat companion. She’s about 2 years old and 17 pounds! As you might know, I had to have my soulmate Terwilliger put down in February as he had severe kidney disease just two days after my fall. I’ve been spending the last two months getting to know Pua and slowly healing from the injuries. It’s been a long slow go. I am regaining use of my right arm and should be able to Tattoo by July or August. The CA trip in Aug (LA) followed by Sacramento and Alameda in September. Brit, will be traveling with me, so check out her work and get in touch with me if you’re interested in an appointment with either of us. Brit specializes in traditional designs of SE Asia.

I got the results of the MRI of my shoulder and it’s significantly worse than any of us expected. I’ll be taking a forced break for just a few months and hopefully back in the saddle by August!

Our BnB in Kohukohu was an old chapel managed by a wonderful young couple. That was really interesting and enthusiastic. The view was spectacular and there was a nearby ferry over to the town of Rawene. . If you’re going to be traveling there, message me and I’ll give you the contact for the Airbnb. It really was special. Forewarned, it was a long drive (25km or so) down a dirt road and there are no restaurants or major grocery stores, so come prepared with a full tank of gas
