I will be in Cali soon with Brit Wang and we both have appointments in LA, Sacramento in the east San Francisco Bay area. I’m scheduling CA appts for both myself and Brit Wang in CA:

Aug 23-31: Carson, LA
Sept 6-21: Loomis, Sacramento
Sept 24-30: East SF Bay Area

Meet Pua, my new cow-cat companion. She’s about 2 years old and 17 pounds! As you might know, I had to have my soulmate Terwilliger put down in February as he had severe kidney disease just two days after my fall. I’ve been spending the last two months getting to know Pua and slowly healing from the injuries. It’s been a long slow go. I am regaining use of my right arm and should be able to Tattoo by July or August. The CA trip in Aug (LA) followed by Sacramento and Alameda in September. Brit, will be traveling with me, so check out her work and get in touch with me if you’re interested in an appointment with either of us. Brit specializes in traditional designs of SE Asia.

I got the results of the MRI of my shoulder and it’s significantly worse than any of us expected. I’ll be taking a forced break for just a few months and hopefully back in the saddle by August!

I’m scheduling my upcoming CA trip now! It seems that Carson in LA area might be fairly slow so if you’re in Southern CA, message or call me at ASAP if you are interested in scheduling. Our BnB in Kohukohu was an old chapel managed by a wonderful young couple. That was really interesting and enthusiastic. The view was spectacular and there was a nearby ferry over to the town of Rawene. . If you’re going to be traveling there, message me and I’ll give you the contact for the Airbnb. It really was special. Forewarned, it was a long drive (25km or so) down a dirt road and there are no restaurants or major grocery stores, so come prepared with a full tank of gas

Our BnB in Kerikeri. This was a beautiful spot and had a swimming pool, gorgeous gardens, and even a glowworm cave on the property. Contact me if you’re going to be passing through this area and looking for a place to stay

Traveling Aotearoa (NZ) with my brother Alan. Here’s just a couple of the Airbnb that we’ve stayed in and some of the sites that we’ve seen along the way. The chapel is a fantastic BnB in Kohukohu, off the beaten track. I’ll try to be better about posting here.

The beginnings of a full forearm tattoo. I like to start off easy with first-timers. I’ll be available at home on Oahu from November 1 through January 10, then up in both the Sacramento and Alameda areas of Northern California. From there, I head south and will very likely be tattooing in Oceanside. Book early!.

We think we finished with Al’s calf, although I think it might be good with two rows of the top wave pattern down at the ankle to tie it all in together. I’m available in Hawaii from November 1 through January 10, then in northern California in March, followed by Oceanside in April. Book early!
