Pending until this weekend! Red is a 10 year old 15.2 hand AQHA gelding. He is very sweet and loves people, very easy to catch in the field. Gets along in a herd, I haven't found anyone he doesn't get along with. Good with his feet, has had shoes before but I leave him barefoot, he's got good hard feet. He is very broke, saddle and go type. He can be pushy on the ground. He neck reins and knows his leg cues, will also stop off your seat when working. He's solid on the trail but also doesn't mind the arena. Was told he had been ranch roped off of, I have swung a rope off him and he seems solid about it but I have never tried to rope anything with him. After that he was used as a guest horse in a dude string. He doesnt love to lope out, but he will do it if pressed. All his gates are very smooth to ride. His main con is that he is herd sour. If he is alone he rides out by himself just fine. But if you try to leave alone away from his herd mates he will make a fuss. He has never bucked but he tries hard not to go by himself. I ride alone most of the time and that is the only reason I am selling him.
