We are a 501(c)(3) not for profit shelter that services the Dodge County area. We operate under DATCP Dog Facility Operator License Number 267299.

�We do not have online applications. All applications have to be completed in person at the time of meeting.

�We do not require appointments to view the animal you're interested in. We however do not have open viewing of our dogs; so we do ask that you know who you would like to meet with.

�Our application process is not first come first serve. We base our decisions on what we feel would be the right fit home for the animal. Not all adoptions are same day. It depends on the status of the animal you're interested in and if management is available.

�We schedule all of our cat and dog surrenders for certain days and times of the week. If this is something you have to do please give us a call for further pricing and scheduling information.

Taking care of nearly 1,500 animals a year means we go through A LOT of supplies! From cleaning up messes to keeping laundry fresh and making sure our dogs have safe, sturdy leashes, the everyday essentials are always in demand at Dodge County Humane Society. 🐶🐱

Meet Winston! This handsome 1-year-old boy is ready to trade his stray days for a life full of adventures, toys, and a family to call his own. 🥹❤️

Winston came to us as a local stray, and when nobody came to claim him, he found himself starting over at just a year old. Now he’s hoping his next chapter leads him straight to YOU! 🏡💕

This boy is OUTGOING, goofy, and apparently never got the memo about stranger danger! 😂 He loves rolling around and playing in the yard, keeping himself entertained, and making sure he’s included in whatever you’re doing. Ignore him for too long, though, and he might just give you a little nibble to remind you he’s still there! 🤣❤️

And don’t even get us started on his stuffies! 🧸 Winston has a serious love for stuffed animals. Some are his precious babies, while others… well, let’s just say they don’t always survive his affection. 🫣😂
