🐾 Now Accepting Applications for Individual Training Days! 🐾
I’m excited to introduce a new service through Happy House Hound!
Rather than a traditional daycare or a board-and-train program, Individual Training Days are designed for dogs who would benefit from personalized attention in a calm, home-based environment.
My approach is rooted in the science of how dogs learn, communicate, and experience the world. Instead of simply teaching obedience, I work to understand why a behavior is happening by meeting each dog’s physical, emotional, and behavioral needs. From that foundation, we build practical skills, confidence, and a stronger relationship between dogs and their people.
Each dog spends the day receiving individualized care, enrichment, structured rest, and training woven naturally into everyday life. Depending on your dog’s goals, we may practice skills at home, on neighborhood walks, or in appropriate public settings to help them succeed in the environments they encounter every day.
I also share my home with my own dogs, who may be thoughtfully incorporated into training when it is safe, appropriate, and beneficial for everyone involved. Some dogs may practice calm coexistence, parallel walks, or supervised social interaction, while others may be managed separately. Every interaction is planned around the comfort, safety, and learning goals of all the dogs involved.
Because every dog deserves my full attention, only one client dog is accepted each day, and spaces are intentionally very limited.

This service is ideal for puppies, adolescent dogs, busy families, or dogs who need a thoughtful, individualized approach that simply isn’t possible in a traditional daycare setting.
