We are getting ready for the season to start! We have Boon On Blu Rey "Blair" prepping for her Derby year & Shez Got Da Point "Vanna" for her Futurity year. So excited to have these two awesome mares on the trailer this year. ♥️

If I have one piece of advice for my fellow barrel racers that I will always preach it would be "keep your circle small."

Keeping your circle small isn’t about shutting people out—it’s about protecting your energy, your focus, and your peace. Not everyone deserves a front-row seat to your life. Some people are only there for what they can take, while others drain you with negativity or distractions. A small, solid circle of people who truly support you, challenge you, and push you forward is worth more than a hundred surface-level connections.

Quality over quantity. Choose people who match your drive, respect your time, and want to see you win. The ones who show up when it’s inconvenient, who tell you the truth even when it’s hard, and who celebrate your success without jealousy—those are the ones who belong in your circle.

The rest? Wish them well and keep moving.

This c**t came in over the winter pretty much unhandled as a yearling because his recip mare was a nightmare who hated all humans.

We spent months just getting this guy use to people being around him, in his space and building a daily routine. It's not an easy task acclamating a horse to not only people but a busy enviroment too, it's a lot to take in. This c**t still has a long ways to go but he's made leaps and bounds of progress.

We've got him more desensitized, lunging, leading, tying, saddling, and we've starting getting on and riding. Once we get some arena videos I'll be posting updates for everyone to watch progress, even the not so pretty parts 😂. I will say though I think this c**t with his intellect and sensitive nature that he'll be a pretty easy one to get going and fine tuned.

Since Athena is getting closer to foaling, she's been upgraded to her "pregnancy suite". We like to have the foaling out mares in a 28x14 stall so momma and baby have plenty of room to move around when the time comes. We have cameras equipped to keep watch and sneak down there when the foaling process starts!

We love watching mommas through this process. We've learned a lot about our mares that carry just by watching them. You can tell their mannerisms change when they start to get ready and watch the most subtle changes. This has helped us not miss a pregnancy so far (knock on wood)!

Okay sorry for spamming everyone the past few days with photos. I was finally updating horse albums just to have them on the page. I didn't think anyone would notice but it was time to get organized 🤪.

Now that we are into breeding season, keep an eye out for updates on "in utero" offers. The horses we list, don't stay on the market for long. So if you want to get a well bred prospect out of a small, detail orientated program that's your best option. All foal purchases include halter breaking, ground basics, shots, worming, branding included in your purchase. We take pride in the horses we put on the ground and truly want them to be set up for success in the future with their new owners!

She will be running this year in futurities and we cannot wait to see how it all comes together. It's been a long time coming for this moment and we could not be more excited!
