WOW. 🎉🙌🏻 When I started Bark & Shine Grooming Co., I had big dreams, but I also had so many fears, doubts, long nights, and moments where I questioned myself. I not only had a soon to be 1 year old, but was also pregnant with my little girl while starting this business, so of course I was nervous! Anybody that owns a small business knows it is certainly not for the weak!😅

Building something from the ground up is not easy, especially when you pour your whole heart and soul into it every single day.🫶🏻 But I truly believe you miss every opportunity you aren’t willing to take. And wow. Look at what we would have missed.🥹

I may have many years of grooming under my belt, but my baby Bark & Shine has not even been opened an entire year yet. 8 months, to be exact. 🥹✨ What a beautiful testimony it is that we have already been recognized in this way.✨🐶🛁 I am so proud of us.🩷 we are here to make a difference, one dog at a time!🐩

This position is incredibly special to me, as I will personally be training the right person to eventually become a groomer for me!🩷🐶 Teaching this craft has always been a dream and desire of mine. I am so excited to step into this venture with the right fit!🫶🏻

I’m looking for someone dependable, hardworking, patient with animals, and truly passionate about learning this industry. This is not just a job opening, it’s an opportunity to grow into a grooming career.

Let’s talk DOODLES 🐶✨

Doodles have some of the most beautiful coats, but they are also one of the HIGHEST maintenance breeds out there. That fluffy, curly hair doesn’t just stay cute on its own… It requires consistent care at home and a grooming schedule.✂️📆

With this being said, I have made the decision that I will no longer be accepting Doodle clients that are not on a consistent grooming schedule with me!😱

This will cut down on excessive matting, longer wait times to get on my books (yay!!🎉), and make grooming a much better experience for your pup, and for me! I promise you will thank me for this!🙌🏻

Excessive matting of the coat can be harmful to your pet. Not only does it destroy their coat being shaved consistently, skin issues can arise, it ruins equipment, and can make it a much harder groom! Most dogs are uncomfortable being shaved down, which can not only cause irritation during the groom, but it can also cause behavioral shift. And YES, when your dog is matted and hurting, I am more at risk of being bit, which happens more than you realize!😢
It’s not only about safety for your pup, but for me as well!🩷 This is my career, and one wrong bite can end it in the blink of an eye. I take this very seriously.

I offer SEVERAL schedules!! I will list just a few of them below so you can have a general idea of some options!👇🏻 However, we can tailor this to work around your busy schedules, and what is best for your pups coat!!🙌🏻🎉

✨2 Week Bath and Brush out! Great for that in between groom!
✨3 Week Touch up Groom (Face, Feet, F***y)
✨4 Week Full Groom
✨6 Week Full Groom
✨8 Week Full groom

You do NOT have to get a full groom every time you come in, unless it is longer than 5-6 weeks! Every Doodle and their coat is different! So we can absolutely tailor schedules to what is best for each individual dog!🐶🤩
