Will have a couple of junior Brun does, maybe a senior doe and a couple of BEW Polish does available at convention next month.
Will be looking for a blue Rhinelander buck and a Brun buck. Will also be looking for a couple of reasonably priced Netherland does for our FFA chapter- must be a shaded or a rew to work well with our existing stock.

It’s been a good start to the fair season. Two different breeds, two different kids, two sides of the state, and two Best in Shows wins! Both bred by Ballard’s Bunns. Congratulations ladies!

Had a good weekend at Sedalia. Dolly was BOB today. Claire’s rhinelander buck was BOSB both days and we took BOV in bew Polish all 3 days. Her cavy did well too.

Congratulations also to Claire Ballard on taking BOSB with the black Polish doe. Kaleb Tedder on BOB with your Argente Brun doe and Emily Michaelis with your French Lop doe and Giant Chinchilla buck. All were bred by Ballard’s Bunns.

Good weekend in Alexandria. BOSS in the specialty, and 2 BOB and a BOSB with the Argente Bruns. 2nd reserve in Lopalousa specialty, BOB & BOSB all shows with the French Lops. No BOB with the Polish, but they did well too. Enjoyed getting to see old friends and make new ones. Thanks MaryBeth and crew for a wonderful show.

Claire had a great day at Polish Nationals in Canton, OH. She won Best Opposite of Breed/ Show with her BEW Sr Buck. All 4 of her BEW’s won their respective classes. Her Sr doe was best opposite of variety and was best white fur.

Claire has had a great week with the yearly foray into the meat pen and single fryer side of rabbits. She was grand champion with the meat pen at both the Crowley’s Ridge Classic and Buffalo Island Junior District Livestock Show. She was also Reserve in Single Fryers at Buffalo Island. Thanks Caswell Outlaw Rabbitry for the great rabbits!
