Bella's Enduring Hope Cat Sanctuary

Bella's Enduring Hope Cat Sanctuary Because every cat deserves a loving home. It was in October 2022, that the program expanded to a community cat project.

Since 2021, the founder has been taking in stray cats/kittens; vetting them and finding loving homes for as many as possible. Since that time 46 strays have been trapped/neutered/returned (TNR), all within a close radius of our facility. Kittens (54 so far) stemming from un-neutered adults in the community have been taken in, dewormed, vaccinated, each FIV/feline leukemia tested, spayed/neutered,

nursed back to health when necessary and socialized in the hopes of being adopted. Unfortunately, not all of the kittens taken in are adopted, giving rise to what is now Bella’s Enduring Hope Cat Sanctuary. These cats now have a cage-free home to live and play until that special family comes along to adopt them into their furever home. The program is hoping to expand to other communities in the future; but we have limited resources and must sadly focus on those currently in our care, prior to taking in others. As a nonprofit, the sanctuary runs exclusively on donations to cover all expenses from cat litter to vet care.

This handsome boy is still waiting for his furever home! Theo joined our colony several months ago but was so social, it was obvious he wasn’t meant to be without his human. Estimated at 6 years young, he loves attention and gets along with cats, dogs and children alike. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and FIV/feline leukemia negative! To help him get into his new home before Christmas, we’re waiving adoption fees! Submit an application today!

Weeble is getting braver by the day! He decided to visit the nursery and try out the kitty ramp! Cerebellum Hyperplasia kitties can’t do stairs, but he sure showed off his skill at utilizing a ramp! Keep up the good work, buddy!

Finally!! Weeble has had a tough time acclimating to indoor life and trusting people. For the past week, he has started coming out from his safe place to get some loving when I enter his room AND he is starting to play with toys instead of thinking they’re out to get him!! We’ll get there!!! 😻

This Giving Tuesday your donation can help us change lives!

12/01/2025

Donate to help change the lives of those who have been let down by their humans.
Giving Tuesday is tomorrow! This past year we have dealt with numerous infections, fly-strike that required an emergency room visit, a hernia, unrelenting bowel issues in multiple kittens, bottle-feeding neonates, a cat with cerebellum hyperplasia, numerous spays and neuters, each cat/kitten being FIV/feline leukemia tested and vaccinated.
Veterinary care is, by far, our top expense, followed by the cost of food for our fur babies.
Please consider donating to our medical account at Lewis Veterinary Clinic in Linden, or hit our Amazon Wish List from the link on this page. Thank you!!!😻

Remember back in September when we posted that Doughnut was having problems due to a possible abscess presenting as a lump near the top of her right leg/hip? She has recovered, but not without having to overcome the damage that resulted from the infection.
You can clearly see the difference between her ‘normal’ leg and the other. It is presumed that the infection attacked her bone resulting in damage to the femoral head.
This was just a bump in the road for her, as she taught herself to walk normally, and is now keeping up with her brother (they would both give the Energizer bunny a run for his money)! Cats are amazing creatures!! 🥰😻
Both she and her brother, Bagel, will be available for adoption soon!

Autumn, aka Millie, is loving her new life with her adopted furever family! Less than one week after her adoption and she feels right at home! Her family is head over heels in love with her! It doesn’t get any better than this! 😻🥰

As the weather gets colder, we are struggling to keep our community cats warm and hydrated. We are in need of a couple of heated bowls, luckily the price is currently a very good deal. If you use the link to our wish list and purchase from there, it will ship directly to us, making it super simple to help out!
